    I agree with him.

LA still has higher chance to take the series but it's going to be nasty.

Kobe had a good game because he made all those tough shots, but those shots are the shots you should not rely on. He won't be able to make those shots every game.

They are the number 1 seed for a reason, we are the number 5 seed (well, also number 2) for a reason. The Rockets will not back down because they are the underdog. They've ALWAYS been the underdog.

    Rockets in 6!

Lakers fans are applauding the cheapshots because they have no basis to determine what toughness truly is.

I agree with Hollinger and I like his work a lot. He's one of the only national-level writers who is relatively objective about Kobe and doesn't just sing Kobe's praises every other paragraph.

LA is almost always overrated, and it's happened, once again, this year. Just like before the Finals last year. Almost everyone dissed the Celtics, and their 66 wins and went with LA. Why? I have no idea, except that many in the media are rooting for Kobe and just get caught up in the hype. One 40-point blowout in Game 6 later, everything got put into perspective.

So long as Adelman makes a few basic adjustments (dealing with Yao's being fronted, Odom in starting lineup, Kobe on Brooks, ...), not only do I think Houston will win Game 3, I think it could be a beat-down.

Fisher is going to be missed, especially because it's usually the role players who tend to come up small on the road. Brown seems pretty solid. Farmar is not, and I could see him getting out of sorts on the road. And Brown can't play 48 minutes.

Game 2 was an absolute must-win for the Lakers. And they were edgy and desperate, with Kobe, Odom and Fisher trying to talk and act tough. Yet the Roxs were still in the game despite Brooks, Yao and others struggling, Kobe hitting tough shots and Ron getting ejected. The only time I thought the game was over was when Ron got kicked out. Oh, and Von went AWOL.

The Rockets role players played pretty well on the road, now they're coming home. Things are looking good for Houston.

The only people trying to make this out to be some "wake-up call" for LA are people who either don't know the game or are biased Lakers fans, like Aresh Markazai of Sports Illustrated. Instead of writing what the game was really about -- an overhyped team that had to pull out all the stops to get one win on its own court -- it's the supposed start of the LA Juggernaut that doesn't exist.

Don't believe it. Houston's 2nd unit is better than LA's, especially with Bynum in his funk. Scola now knows he can eat Odom alive, and that should continue in Game 3. The main things are to make good adjustments and hope Ron keeps shooting pretty well. If those things happen, not only will Houston win game 3, they likely win the series. We'll see.

    GO ROCKS!!!!
