here is one of the best trades and off season packages I have found. T Mac and Brooks for Redd and Ramon Sessions (word from the Bucks is they can't resign him so it would be a sign and trade deal)..Re sign Artest and go after Birdman or Mcdyess..

    now you have

    Sessions, Lowry
    Redd, Wafer(hope to resign him)
    Artest,Battier, James White
    Scola, Landry
    Yao, Mcdyess

just hope sessions is ready to make that next step and Bucks might ask for Landry which the only way that works for Houston is they send back Charlie

I like the idea with the Bucks. Sessions i think is on his way to being a nice pg in this league and we get a legit shooter in Redd. Artest and Battier along with Redd is really nice :D....I do like that idea, but I also like the idea of Tracy for Ellis and Maggette

Michael Redd would be a sweet addition to this already-amazing basketball squad. He could possibly bring to the Rockets what Ray Allen brings to the Celtics.

This team is already great as is. We wouldn't want to add a player that would take away, or change the style of how we play right now, only add to it. I'm not sure if Redd is a ball hog or not, so enlighten me if I'm greatly mistaken comparing him to Ray.

It seems that Les said Rox is good enough now and he wont change this team greatly except finding Yao's C backup.

Omg, why add some perfect players this summer?we need a perfect PG not as AB.

I agree with Redd trade but isn't he injured every season?

I would like a bulls trade.

If you think about it, Chicago would love D-wade. He's from Chicago and if he feels like testing free agencey you would think the Bulls would be high on his list of choices for that very reason. If they were to aquire Mcgrady's expiring contract it surely would help them with that.

I wouldnt mind seeing either combination of Noah, Gordon, Hinrich or Deng in Rockets red.

I want whatever player or players Morey thinks would benefit us the most. In Morey we trust.

I am not sure I want him back, but on the other hand, I don't want to trade him right now for some bad contract wannabe's. Next year his expiring is going to be worth a literal fortune. Either we reduce payroll, can sign a marquee free-agent, trade him for that missing piece we need. But, I am afraid, keeping him on the team all year will harm the new found chemistry that the team is forming. I really don't think he should get his starting position back with out a fight.

Be careful with Redd, I think I read somewhere that he is a historically awful defender. That is not an exhaggeration either, I litterally remember reading that he is statistically one of the worst defenders to ever play the game. (but man does he have a sweet stroke)

Am I right in thinking that Tmac will not be able to play (for anyone) until sometime around/after the all star break. He had the microfracture surgery after the break, in March I think. IIRC, he timetable for recovery is a year minimum, and for Tmac, it could be never.

But my point is that Tmac won't be around to screw up chemistry when we're in camp/preseason, or the first half of the year.

I still think he will get dealt in teh offseason, but if he's not, we have until the deadline. he won't be ready to suit up.

CHRIS PAUL (haha there is a 0.2% chance this can happen if Hornets want to rebuild and I'm clinging to it :D)

But seriously I don't mind a mix of some youngish athletic players (possibly a pick) + a 3 point shooter OR just letting it expire and testing the '10 market. The '10 market is pretty damn juicy :D.

Provided McGrady is able to play next year, it would be interesting to see him play with the second unit, similar to the role that Wafer plays today. A second unit which includes Landry, Lowry and McGrady is loaded with speed and offense and would be a great change of pace to the Artest, Yao, Scola unit.
