You know what I think? It's time to move on and focus on Game 3. I hated that officiating debacle last night, but the league has doled out its punishment and it's time to tend to more important matters.

That being said, I'm glad Kobe gets to play Game 3. He needs to play as many games as possible so the Battier / Artest defense can take its toll over the course of the series (like it did with Roy when he admitted he was so tired in Game 6). Also, the referees are forced to train their eyes a little more closely on Kobe and not let him get away with that at least the rest of this series. That's about as much as we could have expected based on the evidence. And this way, the Lakers can't make excuses when we beat them this series.

Yeah its' official RaFer and Fisher are suspended for their game threes. Espnews just reported it.

As for Kobe Adelman should put an enforcer in and completely just take Kobe Bryant out on a Drive. Where's Dorsey At a message must be sent. You hurt or attempt to hurt one of ours we cripple one of yours. It's just like baseball eye for an eye.

Full disclosure - Laker fan here.

This link pretty clearly shows that Rockets were lucky Ron-Ron didn't get worse than he got. And, that Kobe did hit chest not throat.

    LINK

Fish deserved the suspension. Ron did not deserve to be thrown out - that was all his reputation. I was about 5 feet from the confrontation - Ron was about to lose his mind, so it's probably better for you all that he got tossed - if he'd been allowed to continue who knows what would have happened next. But Joey Crawford is crazier than Ronbo.

It was close but it's chest. Now only if Ron ducked down more...

Maybe it was chest, but it was close, and Kobe could have easily injured him with a blow to the neck. Kobe was lucky Artest's head wasn't a little lower or he would be suspended along with Fisher.

Also, I don't have any links, but if you watch Kobe's career closely you can clearly see that he is a classless douche.

Screw what happened last night I am more interested on how the Rockets play the next two games. No need to retaliate, the best way is to win the next two with good tough hard nose basketball. Kobe is Kobe and let him play his bs ways I rather have our team win and send him on his Summer Vacation early. GO ROCKETS!!!! Man I can't wait for tomorrow. Fisher is a joke nice to see that his person is a fake and he still is a wanna be thug.

i like it too, disturb their cheminsty a lil and shorten their bench since already odom is starting, so that leaves them with vusha****, walton and farmar, which non of them scare me at all.

The recoil makes it look like Artest got hit in the neck. However, it's clearly all chest, right below where the neck connects to chest. Artest got the wind knocked out of him. A flagrant foul 1 and no ejection is fine.

It's not uncommon for players to shove and elbow each other to fight for a rebound.

I doubt they give Yao Ming gets a no-call during game 3, if he elbows Kobe in the chest. Kobe would fly 5 feet with a flop and Yao would be immediately ejected.

Damn, all these videos coming making my video useless. I wish I could capture the HD stream from my DVR, but I don't have a vid cap card or a PC near it.

But I think that low angle from the end court is inconclusive to where it hits, but it does NOT NEGATE THE FACT THAT KOBE WOUND THAT UP LIKE PUJOLS!

120" 1080i projection captured on camcorder (hehehe, it sucks compared the rest that's posted, I know!):

I actually thought that Kobe got him on the chest with that ESPN video. This looks like an HD version of the ESPN or something.. but from this little GIF and still image, you can see it's clearly not the CHEST area. It's a little above the chest area... hmm.

We need to train our guys so that when a superstar is about to clock you in the chest you duck it into your face.

It was clearly an intentional elbow from Kobe. You can tell he winded up his whole body to swing it at him.

LOL. Coming from the fan whose team sports the dirtiest player in the history of the league, who jumped into the stands and beat up a fan, that's pretty rich.

And if you look at the LINK, you'll see quite clearly that Artest was pushing and elbowing Kobe in the HEAD the entire play prior to Kobe's elbow, it's richer still.

Hey, thanks! I am very proud to be a Laker fan. As to being whine bag pansies, I can only assume you are describing your own post. Nothing happened last night that doesn't happen 10x a game between bigs down low. Artest clearly started the dirty play with his pushing and elbowing Kobe in the head. Good for him - that's normal playoff basketball. Kobe just served it back to him.

I guess nothing. I believe the refs should get suspended too.
