I don't agree. You want to get Kobe pressing. Raja Bell and Phx kept beating him, as did the Celts last year, by getting him out of a rhythm. Get him in the mode where he either tries to do it all or sulks because his teammates "fail him". Get him out of the happy middle ground. Shane should have at him 1st, than switch to Ron if a change of pace is needed--the boos should be 48 minutes, or more if it requires.

yeah, I also have seen that on NBA official net. Kobe escaped punished succesfully. Maybe that's their rule.

 

I think Jowy Crawford should have been suspended in this playoffs too?

Ron's actions merited a technical, and that's all. If the game wasn't out of the control of the refs, he probably would not have even been ejected.

Do you think for a moment that Kobe would have been ejected for getting in Ron's face after Ron hit him with an elbow?

WOW! ESPN pregame show to the Cavs game is showing some new angles. I'm going to record it on my camcorder (since I don't know how to get stuff off my DVR). They have an angle RIGHT THERE AT COURTSIDE & you can see Kobe's elbow above the Rockets logo on Ron's jersey. That's about as borderline as it can get, CLEARLY Kobe was doing this to throw Ron off of him to get the reb AND cheapshot.

Um, so do people think Artest got hit in the upper-chest and then exaggerrated/lied and said he got hit in the throat? I don't think he's that quick-thinking ("ouch, my chest... wait, ooh, Kobe might get suspended if I fake like I got hit in the neck. <clutches throat>") nor is he that low. The man definitely tells it like it is every time I've heard him. The video is unclear, but Artest wasn't.

 

Haven't myou noticed the endless parade of NBA "commercials" during the game comparing Kobe and LeBron to decide the real MVP? Nauseating!
