LOL. Not that I condone it or anything but if anybody needed a slap like that it was Eddie House. You can't have bench players whooping it up like they're some star player. Vujacic and J.R. Smith are other players I wouldn't mind seeing get the crap slapped out of them.

The Rondo-Hinrich play was in the flow of game action and reflected two tangled parties (as was the Kobe play), the Fisher play and the Alston play were not. The NBA is defensible here.

Umm, Rondo threw a punch after Hinrich came back after him... That itself warrants an ejection/suspension. Thats what is known as the Kermit Washington Rule.

I haven't be able to decipher a "punch" from the admittedly shakey video still available. Looks like more of a forearm or elbow (could have been a "blow" or more of a push off, besides, Hinrich come at him with forearms up and another Bull (#24) engaged with another Celt later kind of does the same thing.)

Rondo couldn't have complained if he was suspended--same with Kobe. But there was interpretation. Rafer and Fisher, there is no other interpretation than retaliation to guys they were not engaged/tangled with.
