We had 125 people show up last year. The earlier you get there, the better.

Oh ok, I was going to ask if 500 lbs was going to be enough. lol. Usually you want to plan for around 3-5 lbs per person I would think. Good luck and I wish I could be there!

I don't know if it'll be enough, but that's why I recommend people get there at 4.

We're setting up tables...then we're dumping crawfish on each table. Then eat and enjoy.

Get there early if there is a crowd.

SFA had their annual mudbugs day, and those things went quick. 1,000lbs or so IIRC....I had to get a burger instead, i was too late. :(

But I went to a great crawfish block party in Houston a couple of weeks ago, an annual event. Great food (free...)....Beer (free)....man. Good times.

I couldn't make it - went to San Marcos for the day to visit family for Mother's Day.

Hey ryan, if you do this again, please post again about it!

We had a great turnout. About 150. Served 500lbs of mudbugs from 4-8.

We gave away free t-shirts, koozies and one lucky lady won a free crawfish broiler. I'll post up pics later.

We'll do it again next year.
