Again, no one is asking to beat anyone. Second, cheap shot did work sadly... Scola obviously was flustered the entire game and Odom that douchebag got in his head.

I agree with the OP. You don't have to throw punches, everyone knows it's all puffin your chest in the NBA. Kobe ain't no fighter, but walks around like he's saying, "I wish someone WOULD."

If someone pushes my teammate/friend I'm in their face. ESPECIALLY if I know they won't punch me, hahaha!

Some people act like the OP said go around punching the Laker players.

All he said was we should have sent a message. You can send a message with a hard foul without suspended. It happens all the time in the NBA. The perfect time to deliver that message was when Kobe went for a layup on that fast break.

Retaliate through BASKETBALL plays. Harder fouls, harder boxouts, harder picks with an added elbow for effect. Instead of hands uses forearms

Everyone wanting to see outward retorts through punches and people sparring at each other like a bar fight, thats fine and whatever but thats more for gratification that you saw action took place...Its personal, but you still have to do it through busines.

The game within the game. Like the Lakers and Jazz do it....

Why do you think Artest got ejected? No punches or hits were thrown and he got tossed. I am telling you the Lakers look like the punks now and I am glad we didn't jump in. We don't need 3 on 1 like the Lakers. Scola will stand there straight up with them and dare them to do something besides talk. There is no way those three pusses were going to try anything on Scola. They were just talking.

Odom only had 7 pts. on 2-7 shooting. Who was in whose head? Whatever I guess we will see in Game 3 which team has the mental edge. IMHO it is the Rockets not the Lakers.

I don't think the rockets should have started anything serious when Luis was getting confronted by Luke, Sasha, and Odom, BUT they should have stepped up for their player and showed a little bit of unity.
