With all the talk of Kobe being suspended, this hasn't been mentioned. I know he shouldn't be, but for some reason I fear he will be. They'll cite escalation or something. I'm really worried about this...

he's not going to get suspended, as he didn't do anything besides talk.

Hell no. And as a Lakers fan - I would be PISSED if he was.

    He should've NEVER been ejected.

    He might.

If anyone gets suspended it will be Ron.

If Ron gets suspended... then there are about 10 people from that game last night that should be suspended with him.

didn't they suspend larry johnson for making gestures to the neck, which artest did. it's something really stupid, but with the NBA, who knows.

If Kobe does then I surely think he will.

But since that won't happened then I would not think so.

Yes. They will also suspend Shane for getting blood all over the floor in game one.

It was clear that Ron was demonstrating what Kobe did to him, not making gestures to Kobe's neck. It was not intended as a threatening gesture, and I think that was obvious even at the time.

Suspended for what? I can't see it. Fish deserves one. Bryant deserves one. Artest? No way!

    Fisher will.

    Kobe & Artest won't.

Please, who the hell wants to watch the Rockets game without those two. I don't want Artest suspended. He should've NEVER been ejected. The bigger thing we should all - Lakers fans & Rockets fans - should be upset over is how the hell Rajon Rondo stays on the court with all his antics.

That's what is infuriating to me.

Agree with the Rondo point. That guy would be arrested for assault if he did those things on the street and yet he gets a free pass on the court somehow.

    Exactly!

    Artest getting tossed for WHAT!!!?

It pisses me off that there is no consistency throughout the league. Lakers try to do some "cheapshots" or "hard fouls" and we get ejections, flagrants and tech's. Yet Rondo gets away with murder - which we ALL agree with - and NOTHING.

The cloud of suspicion is growing...

absolutely not, you're allowed to get in a players face, he didn't touch him, he didn't do anything to even merit an ejection, the refs called a tech fearing that artest would do something more, he was a victim of his past, he deserved a tech, not an ejection, and not a suspension, shouldn't worry about this one, our guys played tough and fair, wish i could say the same for the other team

This is a STUPID THREAD! Why didn't Hinrich get suspended? Why don't you ask yourself that? He did exactly what Artest did but even more aggressive then Artest. He approaches Rondo in a more aggressive gesture then Artest and he didn't get ejected, a technical, foul or suspended. If the League fine or suspend Artest, they are showing their stupid BIAS...

Ron was ejected. He got punished already!

    But, Kobe hasn't.
