    Interested in Kal Lopez, Zac?

A-G-G... the average in hits isn't great, I know, but he has an A in speed and an A defense in centerfield, which would allow you to move Jumbo to RF, where he has an A in defense. :)

I'd really like to get Macklin, so if you see anything, let me know...

Zac would either Brandy Somers/Amezcua or Kenneth Clark interest you for Buck Perez.

Also, how much more does it take to get Ashmore and when is a good time to take care of my resignings?

    Zac:

Please wait until later tonight if you don't mind before you sim.

I would like to try to talk to IVFL to do one last deal before the trading deadline.

I may be interested in some bullpen guys of yours. Richard Benoit could be had for the right price, but I want to talk to the Vandal man first.

The speed of Lopez isn't enough of an upgrade of Brant Waxman for me to want him. We could work something out with Benny Rodriguez, if you wanted.

To everyone, I won't sim until 9:00 central, so you have until then to complete trades...

Zac: I'd trade Benny, but he's my only current brill in homers on the roster. Hmm. York should come up next year, so, could you toss in a reliever with Macklin?

How about Bob Miller, Floyd Macklin for Benny Rodriguez? Would you do something like that?

Hmm... would you be interested in Gene Woodworth? 29 years old, A-A-G-G... that's probably the best I can do, since my bullpen sucks... you would get the catcher as well.

Boston here. Some players are available.

23 year old Uber-prospect second baseman Phillip Gray. The 9th ranked prospect in the game. Good-Good-Brilliant talent.
Possible deals would be: Gray for a prospect SP, Gray and Scott Davis for a young 1B, Gray and Steve Sharrow for a young CF, and Gray for a prospect RF or 3B.

Gene Amar. Stud pitcher. GAGB talent.

Schoolboy Vicente. Stud pitcher. GAGG talent.

Russ Hammit. Veteran stud pitcher. GAAB talent.

Lemme know here, in chat, or at BigA853@yahoo.com

I got your email. I'll have to think about that one, but it might be doable depending on some other things.

    IVFL:

I hope you see this since you're on the BBS.

Please go to chat, if you're not there already, in 15 minutes.

    Thanks

    Cat:

My proposed deal with IVFL has fallen through.

Let me know what that deal was again.

No one is safe off my team with the exception of:

    Goulet, James, and Cole.

    Nomar:

I would like to talk to you to discuss deals as well.

Okay, I now have power hitter deluxe Arnie Nance available.

With a brilliant in homers and driving in over 100 RBIs for the last 4 seasons (counting this one), he can help any team.

I could also include young OF Johnny Prosser, veteran OF Duffy Wentzel, and MR prospect Edwardo Vargo.

Looking for pitching, not necessarily starting, probably 2 decent bullpen guys who are major league ready.

Can be a small deal like Nance + Prosser for 2 relievers and maybe a single A prospect.

    Let me know if interested.

Looking for a major league ready lefty starter. Willing to deal most except for Pulliam, Griffin, and a few prospects.

Uber prospect, Darrell Cole, can be had at the right price.

He is in AAA, is an OF, and is a good in hits & brilliant in homers.

Looking for a 2B or someone who can play 2B that is better than Cy Kuebler and a young SP.

dylan - I like Al Osgood and Bivins.

Let me know if you or anyone else is interested.

I think I want some pitching, and I think I need to trade Brant Waxman or Takashi Veitch to get it... Waxman was rookie of the year in 2012, hit .263, slugged .507. This year, he's batting .269, slugging .529 and he's obviously maturing into his walks talent as his OBP has jumped up to .362. Brant steals bases (35 of them, caught 3 times) and has a good arm in the outfield, with C range in right and left.

Takashi is a first baseman, age 28, who's improved over each of his full years in the majors and has been playing at a superstar level this year. He's batting .323 with a .384 OBP and a .547 slugging %... contributing to that slugging percentage are his 27 homers to go with 94 RBI, if you're into that stat. He's also a base stealer, with 24 of them this year against just 7 caught stealing.

For either of these fellows, I'd like a good pitcher or two... age doesn't REALLY matter as long as they're not over 34 or so, I just want them to be able to hang around for the next 5 years. Starters are most definitely preferred. I also wouldn't mind a 2B that can hit, but pitching's my primary target.

Let me know if you're interested.
