Landry was consistent last year during the regular season, but he hasn't been consistent at all this season. Adelman has his rotation, Scola plays the majority of 1st and 3rd quarter, while Landry (if he's doing well) will be play most of the 2nd and 4th quarters.

Scola had a terrible 3rd quarter, I agree, but I think he's earned the right to stay on the court for his usual allotted minutes and get himself back on track.

Hopefully he learned it is unacceptable to act like a 3 year old when he doesnt get his way. I'm a coach for a different sport, and when of my kids acts that way, they get the boot too. I would expect more from a professional. I'd have kicked him out too. Rick did what any good coach should do. Hopefully Von knows what he did wrong, and understands why Rick did what he did. If not, I don't want him on our team anymore. No room for children.

um...didn't this guy make us a precious mid-range jumper aka the most important basket that ends our scoring dry spell 3 minutes into the 4th?

No, Von let his team mates down. Adelman did what he had to do.

If Von was being a knucklehead and whining about his playing time, then I disagree. He needs to do what his Coach tells him. He hasnt earned a position in the league yet to demand anything.

Stupid move on Wafer's part. You cant be freaking out on the sidelines in game 2 of the playoffs on the road. Show some composure.

Adelman did what he had to do. No big deal. Be a man apologize get on the bench for game 2. You just really hurt your team

Agreed. Scola has earned the right but if someone is doing terribly and the backup guy is doing great, shouldn't we be flexible here? Isn't that what coaching is all about. Go with the situation not with the reputation.

You over-estimated that. I agree with you that Wafter was a big part of the regular season, coming off the bench and carrying the scoring load. But seriously, without him we would be NOWHERE? Come on! Without him we would have acquired other shooting guards by a trade. imo the Rockets should still have made playoffs.

    Two things are true:

    (1) Von Wafer obviously crossed some line for the coaching staff to send him to the locker room during a contentious playoff game that was still in the balance.

    (2) The Rockets need Von Wafer's ability to create his own shot so both sides need to let bygones be bygones.

It has to come from Wafer, not the coach or the GM! No one is going to bring him in to talk. It is up to Wafer to initiate something. If he would not, it could be a career-killer for him. I wish he is not that stupid.

This is not a matter of the team verse Von and everyone has to pick. It is a matter of whether or not both Von and RA both OVER REACTED!

He shouldn't have done it, but at the same time, I agree with him. Watching Brooks and Ron Ron(no disrespect cause he played great) dribble into the lane and getting stripped over and over with half-hearted attempts at penetration must be frustrating... especially when Von is amazing and getting by his guy on the first step and collapsing the defense.

He should've went with Lowry + Von instead of Brooks + Lowry when we were struggling.

Von's really got to get his head together. In game 1, the entire team was really focused on winning the game and you saw him lose his cool against that punk Vujacic. We can't afford to have his emotions affect his play and become a distraction for everyone else.

Adelman is a players coach to the core. Everyone that plays for him gets along with him. If there's a beef between him and Von, it's entirely on Von.

Von played great last night in the first half, him and Landry are the only reasons why they were in the game last night. I think Von got mad after getting pulled out after missing a jumper . I think it was unfair for RA pulling him out so fast, but Von should of never reacted like that. No Von no hope for a championship.
