Oh my get Wafer out the game when it is already decided. Start rumors of baby Artest same haircut, both take questionable shots, just can't play defense like Ron Ron. He has went from a 3 to 5 million dollar a year player to 1 million a year. Way to save the salary cap for next year to keep most money for Ron and resign Von for cheap.

No, no, no. If they treated him unfairly, there's no way Wafer would want to resign for 1mil. He'd go sign for another team even if it was for 1mil. Morey and Adelman aren't stupid.

    USELESS THREAD. MERGE.

Anyway, it's already being discussed somewhere else, man. C'mon, enough with the "I have something to say about a situation already being discussed, but I'd just like everyone to see it on the title of my new thread." C'mon, now, vegas... you've been here long enough. :(

Kicking Von out of the game was as bad a idea as wearing sweat pants to a party with a boner.

Mark Vandermer and Andre Ware have been dumping on Von Waffer, like hes a scrub. If we lose Von Waffer I guarantee...ok maybe not guarantee, but I think he'll be a star wherever he lands.

he has the talent to be a good player, but he bounced around for 5 years for a reason, it wasn't his skills, it was his head, and this is evidence of that. he knows that, and if he doesn't straighten up he won't be playing anywhere, teams are sick of head cases, signing players to huge contracts only to have their heads explode all over the team, ala baron davis, marbury, etc.

i am sure wafer was just really intense and upset about how it was going, wanted to go in the game, and adelman said no, no is no, he is the coach, but wafer is too immature to understand the chain of command

hopefully they worked things out, we need a healthy offensive dose from wafer, but if it means disrespecting the coach and not playing team ball, let him loose, we don't need any more of that

it's a series like this you want a tracy mcgrady, sorry to bring him out of nowhere, everyone else brings him up only to put him down, but a healthy tmac right now would make this series more even, a superstar that can go off like kobe. if von does go off the reservation mentally and tmac recovers, imagine what a HEALTHY team could do next year (btw i am not by any means giving up on this series, just thinking about our future) ron, yao, and tmac if they can find a way to mesh, if its possible, then we would be unstoppable, but thats another story for another day

Von has really let Sasha Oooh- Ya-b**** get under his skin. He has more talent than this scrub and should not let that mosquito get to him.

Who cares!! There are alot go guys wishing they were in Von's place. Nobody knows what was said between Von and Rick so we don't know why he was kicked off the bench. Hopefully Von will appologize and come back with a chip on his shoulder and go crazy on the court (not old ron artest crazy but shot his lights out crazy)

Von and Rick Adelman both screwed that incident up. Two wrongs don't make a right. So while Von lost his cool, so did RA in his reaction.

But they did just lower Von's contract expectation for next year, along with the chances that he re-signs with the Rockets without a championship title or finals appearance.

    GO ROCKETS!

Von should shut his hole and listen to his coach!

As I recall, he may have a little more experience

That is the myth. One I never saw. Still I see a great jumpshot and athleticism but evry game he makes 2 or 3 boneheaded plays. And instead of acknowledging that he is not the star of the team and he needs to play within the confines of the team game he has a punkass temper tantrum. He had the same thing in Portland for 1 game and he got pissed in the first game when he got pulled then. It is great he believes in himself but he also has to respect his coaches decision. And Rick has to depend on that from him or send him to the showers.

    hmm ratings anyone?

If this series goes on it gets the NBA... MONEY

if the refs do fix games, they'll keep this alive till game seven at this point. Way too much drama not to.
