Yup, Phil Jackson is a douche and he's not even a good coach. Anyone could have won those championships with Jordan. GMAFB.... His all-star laced rosters- I'd hope he have all those rings.

There's a reason Doug doesn't have a head coaching job anymore.

    Tough? HA!!!

To me, if you are going to do something like that, at least show everyone that is what you meant to do. Can you imagine Artest doing that? He would have planted the guy on his a**, then patted his chest and held his hand up to tell the scorer's table that the foul was on him. He would have owned up to him taking a shot at the opposing player.

Fisher stood there acting like he didn't know what the hell happened, like Scola just ran into him. THAT, my friends, is NOT tough.

Birdrocket, Scola pulled Odom's jersey and the refs called him for a foul. When he was walking off, Odom smiled at Scola who had a few words for Odom. Odom walked away and Scola kept talking, and then Walton said something to Scola, which prompted Luis to return and say something back to Luke. Technical foul on Scola, Odom, Walton. Offsetting technicals, one left for the Rockets to shoot. Battier made the shot.
Exactly what I've been saying all along. I think I had a small FORUM confrontation with gucci888 about this: Jackson will NEVER coach a bottom-feeder team. He will only take up a team with Super Stars in it. Imagine him coaching the raptors or Milwaukee Bucks. Never.

Scola was done with the situation and Walton started running his mouth. He bit off more than he could chew because as soon as Luis heard him and approached you could see Walton start leaning back as Scola leaned into him.

Doug Collins is a joke. All game 1 we kept hearing "excuses" for Kobe .... he has a sore throat .... he is rusty. But when it comes to Rockets? Yao can't use his knee as an "excuse" ... despite him moving slower than usual. When Kobe says it isn't a problem they still use the excuse but when Yao also says it isn't a problem they don't do the same. How convenient.

Doug Collins is an idiot. At every opportunity, he gives Kobe and the Lakers sloppy fellatio. It gets pretty annoying. If I had a radio with me, I would've muted the TV sound and put it on 610. Doug Collins really is ridiculous. I'm thankful TNT doesn't have games 3 and 4.

I hate..when people call this being "Tough." Being tough means you work hard at boxing your man out, or diving for lose balls, or take a hard hit and bounce back up. This is not being tough. This is taking a shot at a defenseless player.

The way Collins has called this series has been terrible. Let's go back to the Shane Battier situation, where Kobe accidentally or purposely elbowed him, (I'm not going to judge, only Kobe knows.) As soon as he elbowed Shane he got up and went straight to Shane and got in his face. Collins then states "You got to wonder if this will get Kobe going." As if we did something to make him mad? He horribly over reacted in a situation where Shane just made him look stupid, and reacted like a 3 year old. That shouldn't get a player going, it should make him feel like child.

Next, let's go back to the Fisher situation. Fisher does his cheap shot and Collins continues to say, "You can't question Fisher's toughness, as they patch up the bleeding from his head." It's comments like these that send the wrong signal. It's not being tough, it's being dirty. Doug Collins, stop saying what the home crowd fans want you to say, and start telling the truth.

If Fisher gets suspended it might be a blessing in disguise for the Lakers. He just doesn't seem to have it anymore.

I forgot about what Collins said after the Kobe cheapshot on Battier. It's interesting to hear Barkley and Kenny recognizing that the refs made a mistake in tonight's game regarding Ron.

I just think people should seriously call him up or flood his e-mail inbox and tell him what he's saying is utterly ridiculous. Or tell someone at TNT, so that they can tell him, or so that they can fire him. I remember one time Steve Kerr said something on air, and he apologized for it later. But I think it was a racial slur, so that might be more severe. :p

Yeah, I agree. He made some shots, but Farmar was doing a good job out there.
