He can't let that little cunt elbow him in the throat. This is a better way to complain about officiating than bleeding out of your vagina like Portland did.

No way the Rockets could have even won tonight with Kobe getting away with punk ass **** like that.

In my opinion, we really had nothing to lose because Crawford already decided this series was tied.

    Wrong.

What he did wasn't an ejectable offense. Even Lord Kobe said that after the game.

    So, yea...you're wrong.

It's like a cop pulling you over and you asking the cop 'What's the problem, officer?' and the Officer beating your butt. You're not wrong for asking the question: the cop is wrong for over-reacting.

    So yea...you're wrong.

The knee-jerk response from me is to tell you that I want Artest to get up like that, but I do think you bring up a couple good points.

The main thing here is that the Lakers just pissed off a damn good team.

We didn't need any extra motivation to kick the **** out of them Friday night, but we'll take it.

Enjoy your stay in Houston, Fakers...

Remember to pack plenty of lube for the assrape on Friday Night, and be sure to bring bandaids for the BEATDOWN on Sunday.

I hear what he said, the time to take vengence is trying to get the series win that is the ultimate payback but if they blow us out time to take Fish and the other turds to the ground bleeding HARD. Things like that are unacceptable. In Hockey we have enforcers that don't have much skill but are good for these kind of events. If a teamate gets a cheap shot like what Scola had these guys are literally paid to mark that guy on the ice and take him down hard. We have that kid Dorcey. If one of these games are blown time to give him 2 mins to look for Fish on the floor and do so Mack Truck on the turd.

So true WILL, Battier doesn't give anybody the pleasure of getting in his head. The Rockets need to play like vicious, blood thirsty, robots. They need to come out and play physical basketball and show this soft as# Lakers who they're messing with.

Some day, son, you'll learn that being a man sometimes means using your head instead of your reeko.

Incorrect. We were trailing by double digits in the 4th. The Lakers were playing dirty instead of physical, and Houston still kept it dangerous for the majority of the game. We are in their heads, and Artest did what he had to do. You can't allow Kobe to get away with throwing undetected elbows to the face after Fisher got ejected for something similar.

Listening to Artest's postgame interview, it's clear if we had a realistic chance at that point he would have reacted differently. But he did a good job in shedding light to a matter (Kobe acting PC after making dirty plays) which will be looked at more closely now.

    Artest stated....
"I knew i was going to get a technical, but an ejection?" "I went over and confronted Kobe, no punches or anything, and than i backed off."

I think that Joey Crawford kicked him out because Artest was making that neck gesture which looked more like he was going to kill someone rather than he got elbowed in the neck. I think if Stu Jackson suspends him, NBA is clearly rigged.

    Agree 100%.

Lakers taunted, and Rox players lost their cool.

    Sad, sad, sad.

    Disagree 100%

Ron confronted Kobe...he should have been T'ed up but not ejected! Nothing wrong with letting a guy know he won't put up with that crap. He should not have been ejected.

I'd rather not be punked around knowing that others think I'm a good 2 shoes boy scout. Kudos to Ron.

    I disagree 1000%.

If you are on one end of a cheap shot, stand up for yourself.

Ron was mature. Without throwing a blow, he let Kobe know that he could whip his ass at any time. Joey Crawford is at fault here....

    This is EPIC truth.

    BUT.

Artest did not deserve to get tossed for what he did, that was just bad officiating.

Kobe's cheap shots are going to be under a microscope now.

And if you saw Artest's interview post-game, you know he knows exactly what he has to do to win this series now.

Artest will not guard Kobe again this series unless Battier is fouled out.

I don't think the league should tolerate elbows to the throat....

It could be considered well played or crafty by Kobe for playing off Artest and his rep with the refs, but it was still a b**** move.

And to play off how smart Kobe is, Stooge Jackson won't do sh@t about it.

Disagree. We can't beat the Lakers just by executing and playing level-headed. They are better at that than we are. To win, we need a fire lit under our guys. We need to play harder, more physically, and with more determination. That's what Boston did last year, and that's what we have to do.

I totally disagree. You don't back down in the playoffs when teams are playing dirty against you. If you want a team that plays soft and backs down, become a Dallas Mavericks fan. Dirk gets pushed around constantly and never does anything. Artest sent a message to his team tonight -- don't back down from these guys, Kobe included.

Its a statement and you must not understand that. You can't let a guy elbow you and get away with it. You get in his face, take a T and make the statement. The ref over reacted because of what happened with Fisher and Scola. Hell even Kobe said Artest shouldn't have been thrown out.
