Okay, just find a way to get Yao the ball in the rest of the series adn we'll be okay. I'm proud of this rockets team though. They showed a ton of fight and heart in this loss tonight. The Lakers thugs took over in the fourth and once Artest went out we lost our offensive cohesiveness. Scola needs to play better and please BOX OUT ON REBOUNDS.

Yao got into foul trouble not just bcz of Paul, without refs at least two BS calls,he wont be in foul trouble.and if they call it both side,Paul should got into foul trouble too.

I proud of our players. We can see their frastrit, kobe through the elbow, ***-fisher and Odam are all worry to lost.

We can see our Rox are confidence. Beat them out.

Agreed. I think Yao vs Gasol is not good defensively but offensively it's ok. Today Kobe delivered win but struggled mightily. I think Rox has at least 50% chance to win the series now if they adjust to Phil's new plan. Of course Ron and Scola need to play at the same high level.

Yeah what's with the love-fest for the Rockets all of a sudden :) Barkley, especially, usually never says anything good but this is kinda nice.

Kobe is such a b**** I have never seen. Never, ever, forever. He always treat himself as the king of basketball, but actually, he is a b****.
It's the time, Rockets fans should do something when LA-Dirty-Lakers come to our home court.
Give some specially noise to KOBE, Sasha, Fisher. Houston do not like such a dirty team as Lakers, which is even dirty than Jazz.

This game fired me up. can't wait for friday

Ron just had an interview on TNT and man, I love that guy even more. He recanted a crazy story about some dude getting stabbed to death in a game he was playing growing up.

He stood up for Shane and our team and H-town's got his back. This is the heart and fire this team's been missing.

Charles said Ron can play on his team any day, that he's a foxhole guy. Can't wait.

The Rockets have become a gritty, gutsy, tough, hardnosed team. Unfortunately, that does not describe Yao, who has these absentee games, very soft performance tonight. Yes he was fronted, but he just lacked intensity from the opening tipoff. Why? His knee? Seemed O.K. Yao doesn't seem able to have two "up" games in a row. Other than that, we had some very poor guard play. Turnovers were the key to the loss along with Kobe who is a jerk, but still the best player in the game. I absolutely love his intensity, a mark of a great player.

Artest had another excellent game, Landry came alive, and Shane played as hard as he could. He held Kobe to 40 (a little joke). Scola is still struggling, missed a boatload of layups. The shooting of our guards was, well, awful. The Rockets didn't play smart at critical points in the game, but, overall they played very hard.

And what happened to Von Wafer? That was a massive brain fart and a huge distraction. The Rockets come home with mission accomplished, but I would have loved 2-0. Boy, is this going to be a dogfight.

Any sane person has to defend us.

I really thought Kobe was a great player but after tonight, he is a classless rapist.

First he knees Battier who walks away, and now he give Ron an elbow and Ron Gets the foul and gets ejected. He taunts Battier all night, saying he cant guard me.

KOBE IS A JERK that needs not upper hand. I really hope the NBA looks at his antics closely.

Cant wait for game 3, IT IS ON in houston.

    No panic guys.
We must not neglect the injury effect for yao. He was not as good as game 1 but he will be fine.
Ron is a leader. He is also a warrior. He only need control his temper from time to time. Anyway, fans always loveing have a star like Ron in their team. We love you Ron and we need you stay in the court.
Aaron played not well as game 1. He must calm down. Less turnovers and more scores.
    Lowry is horrible.
Landry should practice 500 fts. I mean each day.
Luis need more rebounds and defense.
    Shane is still the Batman.

We can WIN and we WILL win this series. No doubt about it.

From ESPN, who never met a LA Lakr they didn't like:

"The final 30 seconds of the third quarter turned into a foul fest. Scola and teammates Odom and Walton all were hit with technicals after they jawed at the Lakers' end of the court.

Moments later, Fisher was called for a flagrant foul when he collided with Scola as the Rockets brought the ball up the court."

Collided hell! Fisher deliberately measured his shot at Scola and took it. Not a word from ESPN about Fisher's ejection for a Flagrant Two and possible suspension.

"Artest was sent off the court by referee Joe Crawford with 6:57 remaining in the game after he pointed across the court at Bryant and made a gesture near his throat. Artest complained that he was elbowed in the throat by Bryant under the basket.

"We are playing basketball, there is a lot of contact taking place," Bryant said. "If you are going to be physical you have to expect to get physical back."

"Right from the opening tip we wanted to be aggressive, get after it a bit," Bryant said. "We are being tested and this is fun."

The sad part is that Bryant has enough talent to not play like a thug. Reckon his DNA won't allow him to jut be a competitor.
