I agree. It is the only think I'm really unhappy about tonight though. Fish will be suspended, Kobe showed himself to be the punk that he is, and the Lakers likely would have won this game without all the cheap crap.

    Good times.

Rick is a player's coach. He is known for giving players a lot of leeway. Although we don't know all the details, I'm assuming Von was in the wrong here.

He's an emotional young player...but you just don't do that in the playoffs. Giving me flashbacks of Mad Max in '95. I hope it doesn't come to that, I think we could use Von's scoring in the series.

Von Wafer must not get into it with the Coach! Even so The Coaching staff needs to help prevent such a confontation. I am sure that Von Wafer was very upset at the number of times when he is playing well that Coach A takes him out of the game for no reasonable reason. In this case Wafer like any hot blooded team member was desperate to play and contribute. He should say he is sorry to Coach A and if Coach A is truly a players coach he will have Wafer back as an active member of the team. :p

Wafer was a moron for doing what he did. He's gone and good riddance to him.

I believe a lot of us here see this coming. Von's body language always does not look right. You can call him a tough guy, or you can call him punk. You can say it is a normal reaction from a competitor, or you can say he does not know how to control himself. That's one of the reasons I always argue against paying up to MLE for Von in the offseason. It is a too risky move.

I agree with TNT, it is not wise to argue with your head coach during the course of the game, especially when you have a chance to go 2-0. How selfish he was, to say the least!

Von had attitude problems since the beginning of his career I thought he got over that but I guess not rick was just being a players coach this whole season..

You do not dispute the coach during a game, espicially during a play-off game. As caoch there is no time to be in yelling matches with players. Send him to the locker room.

Bring back T-Mac next season. How can people get on Tracy for comments to the media, but nothing on Wafer.

I wonder what the scene was in the locker room, and why Wafer took a damn shower that quickly...

If he would have cooled off and told Morey, I'm sorry, can you ask Rick if I can go out and help the team, you could see a scenario where he gets to come back out. Especially afte Artest gets tossed...

Kind of like a 'time-out' for a young kid...

When I heard he had already showered, that pissed me off.

Rick Adelman often puts in a unit rather than a single player, that is his style. I think so far Wafer should have known it. I don't agree with that tactic, but to piss off your head coach in tonight's tight game was way off the line. I hope Von will apologize and get play time next game, or I would like to see a little White.

Wafer was playing like crap, probably complaining about getting benched, and he let his emotions get the best of him. Vujacic seems to have gotten in his head this series.

If that is true I would allow him to come back. But only if he understands he is a role player. We need Von but he has to understand his role. If he can't then adios

Adelman did the right thing if Von was out of line.

    More playing time for Barry!

Theres a lot of different scenarios here and you guys are just speculating. If Wafer really did want to come out and "goon it up" with the Lakers, I have absolutely no problems with what he did then.

wafer prolly wanted to go send a message, was told no, and then said something about Adelman's coaching and was then thrown out.
