That's ridiculous, what Fisher just did to Scola was much more severe than what Rafer did in the Celtics-Magic game, and these broadcaster/commentator guys are calling it toughness????

If someone has a direct line or a way to get in touch with Doug Collins, someone please enlighten him on his idiocy. Okay, he's not an idiot, but he's made a significant misjudgment on his initial reaction to that play.

I hope the Rockets show some class and refrain from any of these cheap shots and little smirks from the Lakers players. Even if we do lose the series, I'd rather us keep our cool AND our character than resort to the lowly behavior some of these Lakers players have displayed.

Collins and Fisher need to take a nice drive off the Santa Monica Pier.

I didn't hear anybody call what Rafer did "toughness". Find me one person who defended him. The two things aren't even comparable. If what Fisher did fires the Lakers up, it worked. He isn't that valuable to them in this series. What Rafer did in a blowout loss was so stupid it's beyond description. If he's suspended and the Magic lose game 3, pin the tail on the poodle (my nickname for Rafer when he acts stupid).

He also sounded almost sad when Yao tossed in that blocked shot to beat the buzzer.

Does he not know Ron has a penchant for punchicizing people's faces?

I wish the worst for Doug Collins as well. How the hell was what Fisher did a "message" and not a dirty play? He could've hurt Scola on that play...I hope they suspend him for the next game and over turn Ron's ejection.

Collins has been sucking up to the Lakers since before the tipoff. His fawning all over Kobe and the Lakers just makes me want to throw up. Coupled with his denigration of the Rockets. Worst announcing duel from TNT.

Fisher should be suspended minimum of one game for his flagrant "message".

What was even better was when Ron hit that contested 3 with the shot clock winding down and Collins goes "aaaarrrgh" like he forgot to hide his Laker homerness for a second.

I just lost ALL respect I had for Derek Fisher. Honestly, I really liked the guy before now. I know he's tough and that's his role, but that was a real cheap shot. He was even looking over his shoulder calculating the hit.

LOST ALL RESPECT for the guy. That's not toughness...that's stupidity...

Phil Jackson is living in some sort of fantasy-land thinking Fisher was just trying to run through that pick, and wasn't trying to do any harm.

He saw Scola coming to set a pick, took a hop and lunged into him!!! If Fisher isn't suspended for at least 2 games, if not the series; then you know Stern is usering the Lakers to the Finals. I know, Stern isn't the head of the officials. But the head of the officials reports to Stern.

Luis Scola showed TOUGHNESS. He took all that BS from the Lakers and took that hit from Fisher and got back up. Scola = TOUGHNESS. Fisher wouldn't do that face to face to Scola in a million years. "Toughness", Doug Collins needs to check himself.

That was almost as bad as the Kermit Washington punch....Fisher took 2 steps and wound up his elbow to fire at Scola. Luckily Scola wasn't hurt.

If that's not dirty, i don't know what is.....fake ass toughness, i hope he's suspended for 2 games!
