If the current rockets offseason was represented by a Meal, what would it be???

I say a Medium Rare Kangaroo Fillet with a plum and lime sauce, served with sweet potato polenta and a cold fosters to wash it down.

Hmmmmm...how bout a nice Prime Rib from Sizzler that you thought about sinking your teeth into all day, and while driving there, you almost get into an accident (some idiot talking on a cell phone not paying attention) then the waiter brings it to your table, but its not cooked enough, so you send it back, and when he brings it back, he has a mischevious smile on his face, so you wonder what the chef did to it, besides cook it a little longer so you ask for a doggie bag and order a salad....what was the question again?

Definitely a Happy Meal. We gotta get some talent fairly cheap, we have hopes of being a good team next season, and the thought of even remotely landing a top-3 pick makes me Happy. [IMG]

    Yaaaaaaaaay!!!

(How many months left till the season starts... I don't think I can take much more of this)

This off season is going to be like an all you can eat at a Golden Corral. Not a four star resturant but A LOT of filling food.

I go out to a fine restaurant, the waiter never helps, talks on his cell phone the entire time to his girlfriend, the bread tastes like garbage, water is spilt everywhere, food is still served after falling on the floor, get burned after it is tossed on my lap and the steak tastes like chicken... boiled chicken.

Meanwhile, halfway through this night I'm hoping this lousy experience keeps up so we won't get billed in the end and it won't be so bad...

... but instead all I get is one measly scoop of Rum Raisin... half off... courtesy of the house.

So, is THIS what an offseason at Clutchcity.net is like?? If so, then I can think of a LOT more pointless threads than this...a few examples...

If the Rockets offseason were a female sitcom star, who would it be??

If the Rockets offseason were an element of the periodic table, what would it be??

If you were stranded on a desert Island, would you rather be with Moochie Norris or Tina Thompson??

We already have a cat, a pig, and a bull on the Rockets...what animal-oriented nickname would you give Steve Francis?

    Who's hotter....Rudy T's daughter or Lisa Malosky??

The topics are literally endless...As for the food thing, I'd say the Rockets offseason is like Chinese food...fills you up for a few minutes, but you quickly start craving for someting filling....like REAL basketball...

Does anybody have a cool idea for a signature??

Julia Louise Dreyfuss - It took a couple of seasons for her to catch on but had a strong 9 year run overall

Played like gold at the end of the year but smelled like sulfur in the beginning

Moochie or Tina - Tina since she looks like she could hunt and provide food and build us a shelter as well as protect us from the natives

    Francis da Fox-sly as a

Which one of his daughters? I think he has 2 and they are both hot - I'll take both, but I would take Lisa for the island thing for the same reasons I picked Tina

We used to be meat and potatoes but this year we were bagel lox and cream cheese - despite the creamy goodness on the perimeter it had a funny smell and there was a big hole in the middle

Its not the top 3 so,,,,,,,I'd have to say:

Papa Johns Pizza with Cheese Sticks!

With the possibility of trading up to get the top 1 or two picks:

uhhh, a Supermodel calling you up telling you on the phone shes bringing over a can of Marmalade Jelly to have a little fun!!!!! [IMG]

Waiter, I'll take a can of spam (don't skimp on the spam jelly!), and your finest can of champagne.

    What's that?
    NO SPAM?

Ok fine, is the Potted Meat in season?

The Rockets are a dunkin donuts coffee as they can be hot and cold while Stevie adds the dunk. As for non-Rockets Quitten would be kentucky fried chicken.
