Olowokandi is 7 foot, Ming is 7-5. Ming has been playing basketball forever...Olowokandi didn't start playing until later in life. Ming will be entering the league as a basketball player, Olowokandi entered the league as an athlete. Ming's entering the league with range that extends way out from five feet...Olowokandi's range was a baby hook. If you think Ming's going to be a bust that's fine. But calling him an "upgraded Kandi" makes no sense whatsoever. Maybe you should've picked a different player to compare him to.
So, who does 90% of the Knicks fanbase want? I'm sure NY would take Jay Williams if they had the first pick, but what if the Knicks had the second pick and JW was already gone, then who would you pick?
