When playing against the same opponent in a playoff series, many good NBA players cannot stay at a high performance level for 2 consecutive games. This is either due to some mental/physical reasons or because of the adjustments made by the opposing defense. I hope Yao, Artest, Battier and Brooks can all find a way to keep up their performance levels in tonight’s game. Other Rockets players like Scola, Landry, Lowry and Wafer, also have to step up their game if they want to have a chance to win tonight.

Hope we don't do what the magic do. Win the first and be satisfied with the split.

Ok, LA will throw all they have right here. This IS the most important game the ROX have played since, well since Game 1. They overcame the 25-0 stat for losing to Phil Jax team in game 1. I'm sure if (rox) they win this game, the series is theirs. Winner of this series wins the championship. Don't believe the Kobe and Lebron hype. The rox slice thru all the hype with real defense and offesive balance.

go rox. If they lose I'll be upset, but I will take the split going home. I just hope the rox don't feel content with a split.

What channel will the game be on tonight? Local or DirecTV? I have SW sports channel, but it wasn't on because I don't have the regular DTV channels (TnT) =X

I know everybody is scared of Joey C., but you've got to be kidding. I hope this is a joke.

I don't think Crawford is necessarily biased. He's just a lousy ref that's whistle happy. In the Portland game he reffed, we shot 32 free throws and Portland shot 36. Not a huge disparity at all.

No doubt in my mind that the Lakers will win by 20 or more and that Von Wafer and Scola will again have very bad nights. ;)

I just don't understand why they would put Joey Crawford as the main ref for our games. He has a history of being biased against us, and I don't think it's coincidence that he's going to be on this one.

With Joey Crawford it's not necessarily quantity, but timing. He's slaughters momentum with reckless abandon via his calls. He's a disgrace.

O.K., I will redo the reverse jinx; the Lakers will win by 50 pts. That should do it. ;)

Over/Under on the number of times Joey does his tweet-tweet-tweet-look-at-me-dance onto the court when making a call against the Rockets: 6.

15 Rockets FTA to 32 LAL FTA.
