The heart and determination this team has shown ever since T-Mac went down is second to none. The things this team has gone through together has given them a bond that's proving impossible to break. I haven't seen a Rockets team with this much fight since the second championship, and it just warms my heart watching these guys fight for every loose ball, take every elbow in stride, and continue to grow as a team. No matter what the outcome of this series ends up being, the Rockets have shown the rest of the nation that we will NOT go down quietly. Shane's bloody face is going to be the symbol of this year's post-season, and I have a feeling that it's going to be one we will not ever forget.
I have a good feeling about tonight, I think we can get the broom out! Well maybe that is a bit optimistic, but play offs are all about teams on the rise, and i think the Rockets are peaking at just the right time in the season....
hey Chris! where was your gut feeling when we signed up with startpath?? I have this feeling our group of good guys will make us proud.
The feeling you're feeling is Yao showing shades of being dominant. You know.... the type of feeling you got when Hakeem had the ball in the 4th and even if we were down you knew there was no way we were going to lose the game. Also the other players are very poised and clutch ala the championship teams. Another thing is this team had many chances to fold on Monday but we answered back every time. Bend but not break. Another character of the championship teams. I have a feeling we can play even better than Monday night. We of course will have to as the Lakers surely will.
They have guts and they fight hard every game. That may not be enough, but it's satisfying to shut up the arrogant Lakers and their fans if only for one night.
I actually have the opposite feeling- that our guys will revert to their mentally soft ways, get complacent and content that they shocked the world in Game 1, and let the Lakers win 4 straight. I hope it doesn't happen though.
I have a feeling that IF we beat the Lakers, we'll win it all. I just don't think we can beat 'em. Prove me wrong boys, prove me wrong. But man, if we beat the Lakers, nobody can stop us.
I got that feeling after the 22 game win streak. One of my friends before this season bet in Vegas that the Rockets would be Western Conference Champs. I said "good bet." Of course I lost faith with the Tmac debacle, but they are showing they have something special.
When I saw this post I was hopeing no one would bash it because I didn't get that feeling tell I saw Shane all bloody and at that point I knew the Rockets were going to win. All of a sudden today I have that feeling that the Rox's will win again.....We shall soon see
Ha! Whothehellis whoisray? How do you know this stuff about me?!? The answer is no -- I never trust ANYone on the Internet. And for what it's worth, those Startpath SOBs *still* owe me $8000.
I had that same exuberant feeling too, but I just attributed to the ham, beans & cornbread I just finished. Hope you enjoyed your meal as much as I did.
I'm hooked on a feeling, high on believing! (nods to BJ Thomas & Mark James, lol!) I feel a little like I did in 1986, when we shocked the Lakers. Sure, that was a better Rockets team, but it was also a better Lakers squad. A win tonight and, in my opinion, you can buy those Finals tickets. A win tonight would be gigantic. We'll have to wait and see, of course, but I've got that feeling.
I think the Lakers will win Game 2, undecided with the series though. I don't think Adelman realized and worked on Yao Ming playing against Pau Gasol so, It's going to be tough. I hope we can pull this thing, but logically I think the Lakers will win Game 2. I still believe though.
Remember 'Winning it All' by the Outfield? sort of a theme for the 95 chip....I can't stop listening to this song atm....hoping it will create good karma. Classic song. Winning it All - Aint no walkaway Giving it all No matter what you say Aint gonna fall Don't wanna lose today. Winning it all. This time its right My time has come Gonna give everything that I've got til its over And victory's won. No second chance No giving up Because no one remembers a loser And I dont intend to be one! GO ROCKETS
Of course, that feeling. Every time I hit the John It's coming, it's coming After some hardship, it always does.
I am getting the same kind of feeling that I felt when we were on that 22-game winning streak. Wouldn't it be something if we win it all this year like many of us expected before the season started. And all these without our best player....
