I loved watching after the game cause all last night they were saying can the Rockets keep the lead and can they really beat the Lakers. We were up almost the entire game, and seeing Yao on the floor in pain had horrible flashbacks in my mind. But seeing him say he wanted to go back and play, WOW A big **** you to all the people who says Yao is soft and that he is not the best. YAO IS HOUSTON ROYALTY. LONG LIVE KING YAO
Hey! before this thread ends I want to join in... and say for my part that I appreciate like all of you the comeback of Yao Ming. He wouldn't let his team down. He wanted to come back into the court to help them win this game together. His comeback certainly instilled a sense of relief and awe among his teammates and this galvanized them into finishing the game convincingly. This was one moment of courage and sacrifice from Yao to his team. It is all to his honour. He is a true warrior indeed!! Yao, we are proud of you!!! Keep it up!!!
yes, i was just thinking about making a thread like this, <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/T0Ve5j7w26I&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/T0Ve5j7w26I&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> Yao Ming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was really touched by Yao's fighting spirit. Even the TNT guys, who are usually his harshest critics, were like wow. Flat out, the Rockets would have lost this game if he didn't come back. You could see the team turn it over and struggle trying to get anything easy when he was out. Then, he comes in and hits those critical shots, but also draw attention for our pocket jet to wreak havoc. This was the most enjoyable game that I've watched in the last ten years in terms of a Rocket game.... just because of the lows of watching the franchise player go down, the shock factor of the crowned NBA champs LA Lakers in everyone's eyes get beat by this scrappy Rocket team.
Man, yao made me proud with that one...I know tmac would have did anything to avoid kobe in the 4th...When yao did that, it makes you look at him different
I think the world saw what we have seen since the Rockets drafted him that night. Yao does not give up. He has had some bad luck, but even in recovery he would sit on a chair and practice his shooting. Bynum had playboy bunnies on his shoulder, during his rehab. He will never be like Yao. He is the hardes worker in the NBA. The Rockets are Yao's Team.
