    Didnt see this posted.

"PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- Andre Miller and Theo Ratliff have skipped the final Philadelphia 76ers' team meeting a day after they were eliminated from the playoffs.

Miller and Ratliff were both absent from Friday's meeting. Neither player offered team president Ed Stefanski an excuse. Stefanski says he has not been in touch with either player. Miller and Ratliff are both unrestricted free agents.

Ratliff criticized the Sixers' coaching staff after their 114-89 Game 6 loss to the Orlando Magic. Sixers coach Tony DiLeo says he doesn't agree with any of Ratliff's complaints about the staff. DiLeo says the Sixers were prepared and focused heading into their final game of the season.

Stefanski and DiLeo held individual meetings with the rest of the team on Friday."

Miller planning on bolting this offseason?

say no to miller. I would've liked it couple years ago but we really need to start separting ourselves from players older than francis. This includes, Sheed. Stay away from Sheed.

I must say, this thread is just plain bad mojo.

We are making a run at a huge upset in the playoffs, and you are speculating on upgrading the roster? Now?

Wait till the offseason at least.

The temptation to add guys like Andre Miller and Rasheed is there, but you have made an astute observation. Sheed unfortunately is done. Andre Miller still has game left but we can't afford to give him a long term contract, any S and T will lead to a loss of depth which we can ill afford. Lowry might be able to develop into a poor man's Andre Miller.

08-09 has shown that acquiring big names and actual team improvement is the exception not the norm. And with Geek Elvis at the helm, I'm much less anxious about grooming unknowns over picking up knowns.

I like Miller, hes been consistent and is even matching some career numbers this year. But the playoffs have shown our PGs have lots of potential.

Haha, guess Miller and Ratliff don't want to be in Philly next year.

That being said, I don't want them in Houston either. That was a classless thing to call out the staff in the middle of the playoffs AND to not show up to the last meeting of the year, even if it's just to support your team (which they obviously didn't). To add to that, Miller's pretty old and we have two young PG's who are proving things this year.

I would take Ratliff for cheap on a two year deal to back up Yao. Maybe $1-2 million per year? He still has some spring left in those old legs and he's bigger than anyone else on the roster with an obvious exception.

First let me say I didn't see game 6.

Many UFAs that know they aren't returning have skipped the last meeting. That isn't a big deal. Calling out the staff was classless, but he probably had a valid point. Losing to the Magic by 25 at home when Dwight Howard doesn't play seems to indicate something was wrong with how the team was prepared.
