all signs are pointing to a lakers win, but i'm hoping we can take another game from them.

not sure the nba will like the lakers down 0-2 going back to houston; it's gonna be tough for us tomorrow.

Since moving to Los Angeles, the only time the Lakers ever lost the first two games at home occurred in 1977, which was in their conference final that year with the Portland Trailblazers. The Lakers were consequently swept out of that round by the Trailblazers, but not easily, since those games were decided by five or fewer points. By the way, in Game 2 of that series, the Trailblazers won it by two points.

One other thing, in the seven previous playoff series between the Lakers and Rockets, there were two of those series in which the Rockets took that first game, which were in 1981, and 1996. Both of those series were won by the Rockets. Maybe here in 2009, we'll see similar results since the Rockets took the first game of this one. :D

Defense intensity, smart and unselfish ball handling and shot selections and patience in getting the ball to Yao inside etc are all important elements to win again.

These were all displayed during Game 1. If Rox players continue doing that in Game 2 they would have a chance of getting another win on the road.

I am sure the Fakers would come out hungry and desperate, press for everything (like what they did during the closing minutes of Game 1). They would definitely try to get Yao into foul trouble and shut him out during the first half.

It is up to the relatively inexpierenced young Rockets to play cool and stand firm against these waves. If they could keep the score close after 3 quarters, they'll have a chance.

Go Rox! We're proud of your performance so far, keep it up!

Ok, first one was luckyyyy. It was like a rainy day in LA in late April, not going to happen again in a decade. Kobe is going to come out charging to the rim, snake around, dancing like true Migo. He will sink it even if you have him shoot from Pico blvd. Prepare for a blow out.
