This what I think would be a good off season.

1st- Do not draft Ming. He's a headache and the very best he'll be 9 points 5-6 rebounds and 3-4 blocks.
We need an impact player now. Two years ago, maybe this would be a good choice not now. This is not Olajuwon or Sampson.

2nd- Trade for Odom( with Maggete and #8 for #1 and Rice)
this trade is fair and it gives us a SF that is very, very good. Maggete is not bad for a throw in. Odam is the one to go after

3rd- Trade Mo or Kenny, #8 and #15 to a team like Dallas?? and get someone like Reaf Lafrentz ??
that would be nice.( or go after a center with this deal in mind)
The team will look like this:

    PG- Francis, Morris
    SG- Mobley, (trade/fa/Torres/Williams)
    PF- Griffin,(Taylor or Thomas),Langhi
    SF- Odom, Maggete,
C - Lafreantz( or whatever center that is better than Cato), Cato, Willis

I think this a realistic team that can go deep in the playoff's.

These trades are just the best option I see with what's out there.
    I would like

Your trades do not fit into the salary cap. Your comments about Ming are unvalidated. However, it is your opinion, that is fine.

    My comments:

You said Maggette as a throw in? Corey Magette is a suitable 2 or 3 on our team.

Why would we want to pick up Lafrentz in the last year of his contract while giving up KT or MoT? Lafrentz will cost us the MAX next year, and with Duncan available next year, why would we want to trade for him now..to use him for a year and give up our PF talent? Doesn't make sense to me.

Your right, I didn't know all the details on some of these players.I was just throwing it around. Hell THE ROCKETGUY does it why not me.
I do know that Odom is a great fit for this team.
The Rockets will do the right thing, if Ying Mao is picked, I'll still watch every game and hope that he does awsome.
I just wish that I can see him VS some decent talent. The workout video on ESPN show a good, athletic big-man.
I still defend Ralph Sampson til this day, he was a great talent. Injuries got the best of him. Do You think this guy is Close to Sampson? How big Is the Chinese Gov. going to be involved?
I just wish that Cato was a little better and then Ying would be more of a add-on as oppose to a savior. Hopefully he will do for us like Ichiro(Japan) did for Seattle.

    Thanks for the info.
This is why ClutchCity.net is the best. I don't post much but I read everything.
In Miami, It's tough to get Rockets info.

I too am with you on Ralph

As for not seeing him against good talent
I use to say that about various high schoolers
    like Garnett . . . .Kobe. .. . O'neal . . .McGrady

My thing is. . . he went 21 for 21 in a game
CATO CANNOT GO 21 FOR 21 IF HE WAS THE ONLY PERSON
    IN THE D*MN GYM
