    Blockbuster Trade Confirmed?

Signed and sealed. Anyone here have CD's phone number to verify it ?

Seriously though, ya'll are reading way too far into this. I just finished reading ROCKET!!!'s entire thread. I wouldn't have started another thread if I didn' think I had some kind of a revelation.

The deal that makes the most sense is the 3-way between Chicago, Houston, and LAC. The meat of the deal is that Chicago gets Ming #8, Clips get JWill, and the Rockets come away with #12, Odom, and Curry/Fizer. Since the Bulls will have Ming, keeping both Fizer and Curry seems a little bit redundant.

This is how it's going down:

    Houston Rockets
    Trade:
    #1 overall
    #15 pick
    Kenny Thomas
    Glen Rice

    Receive:
    Eddy Curry
    Corey Maggette
    Lamar Odom
    Sean Rooks
    #12 pick

    LA Clippers
    Trade:
    #12 pick
    #8 pick
    Lamar Odom
    Corey Maggette
    Sean Rooks

    Receive:
    #2 overall (Jay Williams)
    #15 pick
    Glen Rice
    Kenny Thomas

    Chicago Bulls
    Trade:
    Eddy Curry
    #2 overall

    Receive:
    #1 overall (Yao Ming)
    #12 pick

This is the deal guys. It's confirmed on Real GM. It goes along with ROCKET!!!! original post about who's on the roster next year.
Since we'll have five new players next year, the 4 new roster spots open will be from: Langhi, Walt, Willis, Tierre, and Torres.
Assuming we draft someone like Rush at #12, our starting lineup would look like this.

    Cato, Rooks
    Taylor, Griffin, Curry
    Odom, Morris
    Mobley, Maggette, Rush
    Francis, Norris

Bank on it guys. The code's cracked.

"What roster spots will be open next year?" - check
"Our PF position will be stronger than ever" - check
"Enjoy your Ming dynasty for 10 minutes" - check
"The Rockets WILL draft Ming" - check

Let's all hope and pray that this deal goes through. It could be the resurrection of this franchise.

No. It is stupid to choose thread titles like this. I know you meant "confirmed on Real GM" but to choose "Blockbuster trade confirmed" as the thread title is very misleading, to say the least.

I like the trade but this is BULL, or perhaps you could say it LAC's truth.

It's really simple. We just set up a three-way trade involving 6 players and 5 draft picks. Simple! I can't believe how easy that was. Sheesh, like it was hard to figure that out.

    :)

I think with a lot of stuff going on now with the board, it may be a good time for me to lay down some rules and communicate them.

The BBS is a conversation/debate board, but it also is an information source. The title is completely misleading to where it looks like valid information.
