Thats Kobe for you. He gets annoyed by people that play tough defense on him like Bowen & Bell.

Kobe looked like a punk last night, who was schooled by the Rockets Defense.

Great game by the Rockets! WHOOO!

Well the elbow was what seemed more intentional to me, but like i wrote, Shane tried to get up prior to it, so it looks like he lifted kobe's lower body, cauing Kobe's upper body to buckle down on his head. Whether that's what happened i dont know, but there's enough there for the league to see it that way and just ignore it.

Why can't kobe just be a man about good defense.. seriously... the way he plays is so whiny and disrespectful to the game..

Everyone gets fouled..you're supposed to raise your game and play better regardless of this fact, not resort to crying and complaining and taking cheap shots at the opponent..

I see. You're an idiot. Kobe held onto the ball so he'd have a reason to lead with his elbow. Unless you can give me another explanation as to why Kobe held onto the ball when it was dead?

The league will ignore it b/c its Kobe Bryant. If Artest did that to Kobe, he'd be suspended for game 2.

Where's that clip of the announcer calling DWADE a thug.. that should be reserved for Kobe.

If you can't see that Kobe DOES take cheap shots and WILL resort to thuggery if he's not getting calls and can't play well due to better defense.. then you is a blind foo!

For this, Kobitch will lose half of its fans in China today, i.e. about 100 million...

Craig Sager "what do you have to do to get the team to
start playing defense against the Rockettes?"

    Phil Jackson
"Get you to stop hanging around our bench wearing that yellow
    Bozo the Clown Suit."

Anyone else catch this? I was dying on the floor laughing while holing on to my beer. But phil is a jackass for saying it on natl tv.

whats up with all these iliterate posters today???

the point i've been trying to make is THE LEAGUE has enough there to make an excuse for Kobe...i'm looking at it from their point of view. You can argue kobe held on to the ball for that reason if you want, but the league isn't going to assume that.

    You misspelled "illiterate".

The league has no point of view other than the fact that its Kobe Bryant and the most lucrative finals matchup would be the Lakers against the Cavs.

Since you're so vigilant about looking at the play through the league's point of view, can you give another reason why he held onto the ball?

If Artest had done that to Kobe you'd better believe Stern would've fallen straight onto the court surrounded by a SWAT team.

If Howard got suspended, I'd think Kobe should, too.

I copied and pasted after googling the quote. Noticed it after I had posted..Why don't we have an 'EDIT' option on this forum?
