Who is the old guy in the commercial who says that?

I was discussing this with my dad the other day when the commercial came on and I came to the conclusion that it's probably just a random old guy. I doubt they'd go through the trouble of bringing in an old (very old) NBA player that nobody recognizes and then not even mention his name during the commercial.

But if you have the time, search the internet a little bit. You'll get a kick out of some people's guesses, such as...

Jerry West (not quite...)
Phil Jackson (uh...)
Frank Layden (was never a player)
Red Auerbach (dead)

I did - and for once, wasn't able to get a conclusive answer, which is why I posted the question here...trusting the power of Clutchfans .

One other name mentioned was "Cliff Hagan".

I immediately was smart enough to know that they wouldn't bother destroying the dignity of a former NBA great by having him utter that phrase while pushing a walker.

My first thought was maybe George Mikan, and then I remembered he died a few years ago.
