Poor Shane got bullied by dirty nasty fakers all over the game because their gangster head Kobe could not get over batman.
I was saying it all week to my friends: The Lakers do not impress me at all on paper and we have the right match ups to knock them, and we *****ing proved all those analysts wrong. If they still think the Lakers are gonna win this in 5 now they are CRAZY. Rockets showed the mental strength and the physical strength to withstand them. Let Kobe shoot 30-32 shots a game, let him have all those shots it will not stop because we are way too determined and you can see it in the Rockets eyes. Yao just learned what an underdog is...and he's about to teach everyone why he is the dog: it's not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog. Well luckily Yao fills out both.
Anyone notice Battier's face guarding looking a lot more ferocious last night? He really has that move down, it looked like he was snapping at Kobe's face a lot harder than I can recall. And at times I think he got his elbow to Kobe's eye level even. Whatever it is keep it up.
Shane was simply trying to get the officials attention to show them that he was bleeding all over the place, which they inexplicably did not bother to notice. He was probably saying "no" to the pending restart of play. I love how he ran over and sarcastically showed the official all the blood on his hand and face.
my question. How is it That Yao swats down trying to block a shot, but does not contact and its a foul. Shane goes up for a rebound and comes down looking like his last name is Hatton, and not only do the refs not call it. He has to run over to then so they notic the blood gushing out.
The most telling thing about the Shane incident is that we had a guy bleeding profusely down his face and all over the floor and yet the refs didn't even notice. Its like a microcosm for the Rockets in general, no matter what, everybody seems to be looking past them.
I don't think Battier knew he had blood all over his face. That's the best part. The referees were ignoring him, so he tried to show them his bloody hand, but if they would have just looked at his face, they would have seen the blood strewn all over.
Kobe gets away with a lot of fouls. If Ron were to do that kneeing job on one of the Lakers it would have been a technical foul.
the part I like the most about that whole sequence is right after Shane's face is gashed, he looks over and sees a man open a gets right up and tries to defend him, dam near w/o hesitation. I took a metal shelf to the face once and had a cut similar to Shanes....besides the obvious pain, I was a little woozy and dazed, as in, I had no idea what the hell just happened..... I can't tell which is bigger, Shane's balls, or Shane's heart. Awesome.
Shane has a heart of iron and so are the others. I dedicate this music to their efforts and hearts. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VXXP...5B4543744&playnext=1&playnext_from=PL&index=6
DAMN that was ugly. I mean if you go to the game you always see Battier scream Let's Get Red but damn he took that too far. Real Man
