    Chinese Women's International soccer player Han Duan, who plays for Los Angeles currently, asked Yao for a ticket of Game 5 of the playoffs series against Lakers. Yao replied that he could not do that right now because perhaps Rockets would have won the series by four to nil by that time.

    I strongly doubt that.

    1) Lakers are no joke; Yao knows that

    2) Yao would never EVER say this. He is the most humble person ever.

    it was a joke...thats yao's sense of humor. its not impossible but highly unlikely that we sweep...

    Yao plays things very straight. He's not going to talk about a game 5 until it's certain there's going to be one.

    Unless there is a link that he said it, I don't think quotation marks should be used. It's like putting words in his mouth ... it just doesn't feel right.

    Is there any proof of this? If there is no proof of this in the form of a link or something, then you can't trust it just because it was written and posted by someone here. If anyone would know, that old poster who used to post Pryuen would know. Maybe he is on other message boards somewhere, he used to bring us news about Yao Ming. Are you a troll or something? Strange that you post this after Yao helps the Rockets to a win.

    Doubt he said anything like that..

    Lakers will most likely win game 2.. that's pretty certain. I think we can take games 3 and 4 though. Game 5 is a for sure thing, I can tell you that.

    Yao can not give a ticket that does not exist. Game 5 tickets are on sale yet. SO when he was asked to give game 5 ticket. He said they do not have yet. That's all. But certainly he would love to sweep them. And if they win wednesday. The Rockets stand a chance. Look for kobe to try to hard and that might be to the Lakers detriment. If the Rockets win on Wednesday, sweep or no sweep this series is over.

    Of course that is a big if and expect the Lakers to step it up big time. But make no mistake the Rockets haven't played their best basketball either. Scola will play better as will Wafer and Lowry. If Artest can play the same or not much worse and Yao can stay out of foul trouble than we stand a chance. And if we win wednesday than perhaps there will be no game 5.
