A lot of people on this board keep saying we must have a pass first point guard in order to be successful, but it's a scoring point guard in Mike Bibby that's giving the Lakers fits. In fact, Mike Bibby's scoring has been the difference for the Kings this entire playoffs.

Steve plays that same game which is very effective. The difference is ALL of the Kings play unselfishly and move the ball, and they all play defense. To say the Rockets offese sucks because Steve shoots to much or doesn't look to pass enough is not looking deep enough into the problem. How often does a Rocket possession begin and end with Cuttino holding the ball.

Rudy has to preach ball movement to all of the players on the team. That's the only way they will be effective.

Rudy, copy the King's offense and we will see the best of Steve!

Your 100% correct on the fact that the Rockets need to have much better ball movement and need to be much more unselfish as a whole, but we need the ball going to our best player when we need a basket and that best player is Steve. If anything, he needs more shot attempts.

Great post. I agree that Bibby and the Kings, are a case that the Rockets an learn a lot from. Not all the pieces are the same, but it's a good comparison.

Another big difference is the Center position, where Divac can score and pass great.............sounds a lot of what Ming could Bring!!!!!!!!!!!:)
