Just read the story about Cuttino on "The Best Damn Sports Show" and was amused about how full of crap he was that night. "Odom at the point w/ me and Steve on the wings. It's on!" give me a freakin' break Cat! Instead of broadcasting nationally that he thinks we should trade the 1st pick overall for a "proven" player, he should be taking on the issue of why Cato sucks so bad even after signing a $42mil contract! If Cato had shown ANY signs of improvement, we might not be "forced" to take another big man. If Cuttino found the "courage" to tell it like it was, WHERE IS his "courage" to tell Cato exactly how it is also?! And why not broadcast it nationally so everyone would know Cat's feeling on Cato?! Stick to working on your jumper Cat and pursue your dream of becoming a GM after your playing days!
Heck, I can understand that BUT why do it on national TV; where the whole world can see it?! Regardless of whether Ming is worthy of the #1 pick, why go on national TV and "undermine" what RT and Carroll Dawson are trying to accomplish? That's my BIGGEST complaint w/ what Cat did..... "The enemy of my enemy is my friend."
Unless he is acting under the authority of Rudy and Cd and acting under theri directiond to leak insider information, to misguide the media so that the heat can be taken off any real deal that they are working on. I've actually heard a deal with Portland Houston sends #1 + Mo T + Willis to POR Seattle Sends Payton to Portland, and Lewis to Houston Portland sends DA and Damon to SEA and Sheed to Houston. So we end up with Sheed and Shard.
No, I don't like that deal. Rasheed "Bad Attitude" Wallace is NOT worth the trouble! He's TOO unpredictable, I'd rather have the 7-5 guy!
That would be an awesome deal for the Rockets. Lewis and Rasheed, for our #1, an overpaid/overweight PF, and an aging bodybuilder? BFI wouldn't even take that trash.
I think Portland would love that deal. Wallace is a headache, Anderson wants out of Portland, and Pippen is old. It is time for them to rebuild. Mo Taylor will be fine once he gets in shape, and Portland will never get a chance at a young franchise player like Ming without totally collasping. Seattle would love the new backcourt too, as Payton's retirement is only a couple of years away. Houston is the team that get the short end of this deal, in my opinion. Wallace is an alledged pothead (and a hothead), and Lewis is overrated.
