It shows good PG plays can kill the Lakers. Parker/Billups, and even Rando did just that. PG actually is their only weak link.

Our yound PGs have to find a way to abuse Fisher, not the other way about. This is our only chance to win.

thats the problem around here... people still think of the lakers as last years lakers. they are on a whole different level now. they are much more physical, better defensively, and added an improved ariza, bynum, and shannon brown to an already very good team.

the rockets overall are not quite as good as last year (which wouldn't be enough to beat this years lakers anyway)

we aren't as good defensively, and the offense still goes through droughts that is really going to hurt against that high octane laker O.

i will be shocked if LA doesn't win game 1 or 2 by more than 10.

Seriously? Drugs are bad Mmmmmmkay. Last years Rockets don't come anywhere close to this years team in terms of talent, experience, depth, athleticism and health.

last year's team wasn't a GREAT team, and neither is this one... we aren't any better overall than last year. we have a more efficient offense, but the defense is not nearly as good IMO. last year i believe we were second only to boston, and we played with the same ferocity and intensity that they did. this team just does not have that.

we gained some O, lost some D... still not a great team.

Are we Dallas? Are we Utah? Did either of those teams have elite perimeter defenders such as Hayes, Deke, and Battier?

Congratulations on making entirely irrelevant points.

This team is completely different from that team. And, as I recall.. Rafer was MJ during that game.. he couldn't miss a 3. T-Mac was playing.. no Yao.. I mean there's just so much that was different. PLUS, they had no Bynum or Gasol if I can recall.

if you'll remember, dallas really sucked after that kidd trade... and LA has been a bad matchup for Utah for quite some time.

Is it that hard to be optimistic? Capone is just trying to send some good vibrations out, and some of you guys can't even allow that? Trust me, between the media, 99% of the country, and apparently about 50% of this city (at least according to any sports radio talk show today), there are PLENTY of Lakers lovers out there.....let's spread some Rockets love out there!

The team is going to have to make a ton of 3s to beat LA. No way Brooks or Lowry drive the lane on LA, LA's front court is way too big.
