He deserves it. He had an amazing season and his team had the best record in the NBA.

I don't think he is. He won it last year, now he doesn't care about it. All he wants is championship.

yeah, people need to let the "hype" criticism go. Jim Rome back in 04 made the point when he came out of HS, the most amazing thing about Lebron is that he lives up to the hype

He is now a sure fire Hall of Famer. Even if he retires after this season.

It'll be intereseting to see how the votings were. I wonder who is in second place, Kobe or DWade?

I know. It's quite likely he will be the GOAT. But I'm saying that because of this years MVP, he finally has something to show for his HOF chances, even if his career was over after this season.

His package of size, strength and athleticism along with his skill set is basically unparalleled in NBA history - I wonder if as he gets older he will rely more heavily on a back to the basket power game...

I would say that the remarkable thing about his physical attributes is his speed, above all. His speed is what makes him so special. There have been guys before him that have had the size, strength and athleticism, but they all have been big men (power forwards). Non of the previous players have had the full package though, with great speed and guard skills.

He is the true definition of an athlete (or athletic). He's fast, big and strong.
