YAO vs CASOL and BYNUM Difficult
RON and BATTER vs KOBE More difficult
    A.Brooks ..... HE IS !!
A little guy . He can make use of the speed out of anyone's defense.
BROOKS vs FISHER ........... the key !!!

,what's more, if AB become the question to L.As, Jackson will give quick reponse to that.

The key to round 2 is out rebounding the Lakers. If you watched them versus the Jazz, they are ridiculously long and ridiculously good at getting to the ball (especially O boards). I think if the Rockets can stop 2nd chance points, or at least keep them to a minimal, we have a shot to beat em.

Also to note, it would be helpful if Gasol gets into foul trouble or at least a bit fatigued from guarding Yao, that will hurt his offensive production and make it a 2 headed monster (odom/kobe) instead of 3. (yea I'm keeping Bynum out of this group after his ****ty performance vs. the Jazz who have no big men and somehow shut him down completely)

I agree. Brooks is the difference. If he is attacking he can be very useful, but if he is passive he will be a liability. Still, he poses the worst match up for the fakers b/c of his speed and shooting. If he gets it going.....you never know!

Most likely the Lakers will single cover Yao, or double with a perimeter player like Ariza.

I think a lot will fall on how Scola can or cannot handle Gasol/Odom one on one, and how can Landry handle Gasol/Odom one on one. If we can put pressure on those two to stay on his man, or even outscore that position then Yao will be single covered and in position to get the job done.

Kobe will get his points, can“t do nothing about that.

Another reason i think Scola and Landry are so important is because when Phil uses his Gasol-Odom frontcourt THAT will be the moment to bench Yao, because if we bench Yao with a Bynum-Gasol frontcourt that will torch Scola-Hayes or Scola-Landry or Landry-Hayes.
His Smaller lineup will give Adelman a chance to rest Yao.
