you never realize just how many Lakers fans we have here till we play them in a series.

they claim to be Rockets fans, but they dont look like ones to me.

waaaa waaa, we suck....I wish I had the balls to admit how much I love the Lakers.....blah blah blah.

 

Time to steal another game 1!

Upsets happen over the course of history. Why not now? Why not us?

Yao will rip Bynum a new one.
Kobe will get his and then some.
Von Wafer will be propelled to a legitimate starter.
Gasol will and Scola will cancel each other out.
Lowry/Brooks will handle Fisher Price.

home court is irrelevant in this series. we have beat la on their court before (not this season but this season was screwed for us) and they have beaten us on our court before.

Rockets in 6. let's take care of this team. Clutch City lives on!

u don't know that the world has always been watching the NBA games, even in remote parts of the world, such as Nepal, Mongolia, Anarctica, etc.

how is this any different than NFL teams required to publicize the injured list, so that the odds in Las Vegas be updated accordingly. ???

 

IMO, NBA refs helped Phil stole one from Adelman in 2002.

 

it was the 2002 WC Finals, where Adelman's choking effect on his players was broadcast for the world to see.

Despite getting many favorable calls, his players choke. w a 3 point lead with less than 2 min to go, all of a sudden the Queens started to feel the tightness in their throat. #1 option, passed the hot potato to the #2 option, who thens gives it up to the #3 option, who immediately passed to the # 4 option, who gives it to the #5 option ( Doug Christie) who shoot up a prayer to beat the clock.

The Lakers sensed that the Queens were choking before their eyes, so did the TV audience thru out the world, and procceeded to stomp on the Queens' throats.

the choking Rox could never do it when it matters.

For the Rox's sake, let's hope that it will not be a sweep.

Everyone who is not a lakers' fan knew that the series was full of bad calls against the Kings. The series should not even last to the 7th game if the refs were not bribed to fix game 6.

Steal one of two on the road, and we will have done our job. Just hope Ron doesn't get caught up in the emotion and try to go one on one with Kobe. Just play within the system, feed Yao, hit your jumpshots and we'll be in it.

 

Our best chance is to steal game one, when the Lakers might come out a bit rusty. It would be nice for Kobe to sit his butt on the bench with a sore throat though. Ron-Ron will give him a cough drop....

I'm just anxious for the series to get started already.
