Von Wafer and his bulging disk. Given the team's history with McGrady's back injuries, it seems somehow fitting the Rockets won the series when Von Wafer, who essentially stepped into the minutes left by McGrady's departure, decided to just wrap up his back and give it a go.

Let's hope Von gets better before Los Angeles (yet one other team who has cut him loose) comes to town. Don't know how the contract negotiations go in the summer, but teams have to be noticing.

uh... a bulging disc is a serious issue.

Tmac had a similar issue. He had a disc herniation.

Yes, It truly was on Mcgrady. Thanks!

This victory feels great and if tommorrow the season ended and camp opened next week would you rather lose Tracy or Von Wafer?

You know my vote would be to tell Tracy not to let the door knob hit you in the butt.

Thanks Rockets it been a long time! Now kick L.A.'s Butt!

    "Downstairs"?

All I saw was the postgame interview where he said he'd do it if Yao did...

sometime i feel Wefer would be coach's nightmare. This guy, like JR, when he has the ball , the only thing he will do it is attack, apparently, it works for us, he need to get more minutes sometime i feel.

Now we past the first round, somehow i feel bad for Tmac, all the abilities he has and all the talents we have this year, we should have better chance to compete with LA, he just lost his best chance to prove himself. You can feel what he might think now, bitter and joy at the same time.

I know what you are saying, but McGrady has had a blessed life. I don't feel that sorry for him. I hope he comes back and leads the Rockets to a championship, but I don't feel sorry for him.
