Just translate from sina.com. I didn't watch the sixth game, and anyone tell me are there some changes in the way that Brooks play the ball?

Title: Being tried of all of possibility stats, I’ll not let the change go this time

Reporter: Now the result of this series became 2 to 3, and someone should have mentioned to you guys that there are eight teams which ended up losing the whole series after a 3: 1 lead in NBA history, right?

Yaoming: I am really tired of hearing this kind of thing. Some guys told me about all kind of possibilities such as what the final results are after a lead 1-0, 2-0 or 3-1, I think this is nonsense. I don’t care those past stats, and I have experienced the losses after a big lead. So stop talking about possibility, what I should do is just to win the sixth. That’s it.

Reporter: you were quite mad in the locker room, why didn’t you lose your temper on the court, especially to ball-hogging Brooks who also had 20 shots in the last game?

Yaoming: On the court, we never want Blazers to detect how anxious, how nervous we were, and we gotta keep composure, and tide it over with my teammates.

Reporter: Guard is the person who should pass the ball to a center, so do you know Brooks will keep doing like this in the next match? Have you talked to him something?

Yaoming: I can’t let him play basketball like this any more, and this team also needs him to change. We need playing team basketball. Today I really got a little bit mad, and I never speak in such a tone ever. But I told Brooks in the locker room that “you just can not play in this way and it was not his individual game. Before I told you and I advised that you should stay yourself at this position or you should try to start an offence from 45 degree zones, and I respect the choices you made on the spot. But for now, I gotta ask you not to play like whatever you want to play, and I demand you gotta to start the offence from 45 degree zones where Battier and Ron are right there. "

Reporter: In the first half of the fifth match, you got a few chances, even you barely posted up in the lane, why?

Yaoming: This is road court, you know. I clearly remember what we have experienced in the last two road matches. So I have to be cautious and measure the foul standard from referees first. I don’t wanna get into foul trouble too early and I need to stay on the court. Therefore, our plan is to take me as a transition point, then start the offence.

Reporter: what do you wanna say for the sixth match?
Yaoming: We just let the best change slip away, and we it can’t happen again.

Well, there wasn't anyone trying to get the entry to him with a bad angle. No top of the key pass attempts to him on the low block like we saw last game.

Aaron was a bit more aggressive and less hesitant. Thats about all I saw from him. Other guys were moving really well when he penetrated or attacked. Plus the PnR play where Yao was wide open in the lane was pretty.

That's awesome. I am nothing short of ecstatic about how the team played tonight. Gives me a lot of confidence going into LA and I hope it does for them as well.

Even Rafer had 21 points and 10 asists tonight without DH.

No, thru 5 games Bibby, Fisher, Chalmers, Alston all had fewer. And Brooks was within 1 APG of all but Paul, Billups, Blake, Williams, and Rondo.

It should be "I’ll not let the chance go this time!"

and "We just let the best chance slip away, and we it can’t happen again"

That's not what the AB-bashers want to hear.

It doesn't matter what he said to AB, as long as it got through to him. We can now move on.

Finally, Yao cracks the whip on the PG. He needs to lead like he's supposed to. Great job tonight!

Even though AB seemed like he did better on the stats sheet today, those who watched the game know that it turned when Lowry entered and finally figured out how to get the ball inside to Yao Ming consistently. It's too late in this season to make a change, but the right thing to do next year is to start Lowry and bring Brooks off the bench as the energy-sixth-man that Adelman had in BJax in Sacramento. He's got the speed and the scoring, but Lowry has the decision-making and defense. His shot looks great although the percentages are not there; I expect that he can improve them with time and confidence. Finally, he has no fear of contact and instead looks for it--exactly the style of play that is conducive to winning in the playoffs.

This isn't a post to knock Brooks, I am extremely happy overall with his play in this series; however, I'm just trying to more properly articulate the position of those who want Lowry to start over him without being tabbed a "Brooks hater".

I like Brooks but it definitely shows how much in control the game is when a guy like Lowry is running the point. I am definitely glad we finally got a guy like Lowry on our team and I can honestly see him as eventually the starting pg. He is what we always wanted Rafer to be but just never could get. If his three point shots start improving even more that'll make him even more deadlier.
