The Rockets are 2-0 in the playoffs when TMac is on the bench. They are 1-2 when he is not on the bench. More proof that shows T-Mac is the greatest of all times.

If thats what you're doing, how are you accounting for Yao's improvement from year to year?

Yao's current comparison closest Comparison is Dwight Howard, Yao is better though

T-Mac's current comparison is the 2nd round. 2nd round is better though. :D

Just playing, but Yao > Dwight for sure.

I'd rather have Yao because you get a constant in Yao with a good 15-20pts/8-10+ rebs a game, while with Tracy, he really coasts alot and plays when he wants to play. If he had the will and motivation that Yao had, I would definitely choose Tracy.

No question about it. A healthy TMac. As mentioned previously in this thread, a healthy TMac was once a top 5 player. Yao never was and never will be a top 10 player.

From some of your posts, you seem to be the opposite of Tinman. Although I would like to celebrate, Yao is clearly a Top 10 player at the moment and certainly was in the past if you isn't currently.

A 35 ppg quiter is still a quitter.

A 35 ppg self-centered drama queen is worse than a 5 ppg self-centered drama queen.

You cannot build a team around Tmac, but TMac wants to be the 'center' of the team. Why he is not here today???

Are you serious? If you honestly believe Yao is a top ten player, then your basketball knowledge is questionable. Just beacause Yao is your Hero and the best player in China, that doesn't make him a top player in the NBA. 19 and 9 are not top 10.

Dwight Howard and Al Jefferson are both better than Yao.... deal with the truth.

Yao is a nice little player but not top ten, come on now!!!

Yao + Artest > Yao + Tracy Murray. That's what tonight says.

Not a top ten player, Top 25 for sure, and Top 2 Center in the league.

I dont quite get your "nice little player" comment.

Anyone who says Al Jefferson is a better player than Yao Ming has zero knowledge of basketball.

And saying a comment like Yao is a "nice, little player" in a derogatory way makes one wonder if the person is even a Rockets fan. The "nice, little player" is the man that just lead the Rockets into the second round. It'd be nice if he got some respect.

Anybody who knows anything about basketball probably wouldn't talk about "top 10". This season there's Kobe, LeBron and D. Wade and then a whole bunch of players in the second tier. Yao is clearly in that second tier and he clearly deserves to be--along with guys like D. Howard and Paul Pierce.
