For those of you at the game: The place was rocking! One of the best experiences I've ever had in my life. There was sooo much unity and compassion being spread. We all came together for one goal, and it became a reality. Loved every bit of it. Even leaving, people were sooo excited and loud. People were glowing with joy in the exits, the parking garage, even on the streets heading home. I'm honored to have been apart of that!
I've been to only 1 Rockets game in my lifetime, and that was #18 in a row last season. Even then it was freaking crazy. That was the best sporting event I've ever been to. I can't even imagine what it was like tonight.
<br> wow... I honestly don't believe that one bit. Truth is, the Toyota Center has terrible depth perception and all. From what I saw (being there) the place was packed and emotions were running wild. I felt the arena was definitely alive... Not sure what it sounded like on tv though
The Toyota Center sounded quiet on tv, because they had the background noise turned really low. I hate when tv stations do that, to make it so you really can only hear the announcers.
Crowd was great tonight. I went to game 3 and tonight it was louder and stayed loud more often. Only thing that sucks is some of the people in the lower bowl were leaving midway through the 4th quarter.
I was at Game 3, Game 4, and Game 6, and tonight was definitely, by far the loudest I've ever heard Toyota Center over a sustained period of time. The crowd was awesome, and it was noticeable from the start. I've definitely never heard it that loud right at the start of a game (after the tip, not introductions). That said, I watched some of it on DVR when I got home and it sounded like a golf tournament in comparison. There was definitely something lost on the broadcast, so don't always trust your ears when you're watching games from home.
