Damn you guys are homers. It will be a challenge, but LA in 6 is very reasonable. We can beat them, but Kobe has always came through for them this year. Plus Kobe will get all the calls.
Rockets in 6. I'm a homer and damn proud of that fact. How can you not believe your team has a chance? We have been cheering them on all year... I think once playoff time comes around you can homer it up all you want, that's the fun of the playoffs.
Rockets are not satisfied with just a first round victory....we got much work to do..GO ROCKETS!!!!!!!!!!
Rockets in 6 La is going to have a even longer layoff then us so we may be able to catch them off guard. I really agree with what others have said about Portland getting us ready for LA. All we need to do is steal one of the games on there court and win out at home and we will be solid.
Most likely case of scenario: -Kobe gets sick with swine flu and is carried out in game one, tries to do a Paul Pierce return but collapses, miss all games. -Gasol gets pissed at Ron Artest and starts a fight (not smart of guy with TWO doctors as parents(, gets knocked out, misses all games. -Jordan Farmar finally breaks about Shannon Brown taking his play time. The two scrap, both injured with broken bones. -Bynum gets bitten on the knee and falls to the floor crying.....later joings Tmac and Oden in a retirement home party. -Sasha (MACHINE) forgets to refuel, and has an affair with the vending machine, screaming" i select item 69 !" as he dry humps it. -Odom starts passing to the refs, smoking on TV, starts to play football...the usual (except no sasha to pass to on the bench) - Seeing all the above, DJ Mengha does a Hitler. ...and Sun Yue comes back to the Lakers but decides to reunite with Yao. ........so Houston in 0 by default
I agree completely. They have to pull off the same thing they did to Portland - steal a game in LA and defend home court. If Houston wants to win, they need to win in 6. I just don't like our chances of pulling out a game 7 on the road.
Lakers in 5 if David Stern is still alive by Monday. Rockets in 6 if something unfortunate happens to that evil conniving commissioner, David Stern, by Monday. Remember what happened to Sacramento? Someone should ask Chris Webber this question on TNT: "What are the chances that David Stern has already instructed the refs to give Lakers a free ride to the finals, like the year when your Sacramento Kings were robbed?"
