Griffin and Taylor should be our starting forwards for the next 10 years

I know that Griffins future is as a power forward. Currently our starting Power forward would be Taylor.

But, it is my opinion that Taylor plays like a small forward too often than not. He isn't a serious banger. He loves to spot outside and shoot his sweet jumpers. Granted they go in, that's why we know he was the second major reason we went from a 45 win season to a 20 something win season. The first was Steves on and off again injuries and migraines.

In a Zone defense, I can't see the obsession with having a true small forward. Small forwards hit 3's. But so do 7'6" chineese center. Plus, Griffin was having a remarkable season last year hitting 3's.

Griffin and Taylor would rotate during the game from Power forward to Small forward and back.

Plus, Griffin does have the body to be a Small Forward, so quickness should not be in question.

In my opinion, MO Taylor does not have the lateral quickness or athleticism to play the 3. Not only does he lack a finess game, but I also do not seeing him blowing by anyone on the dribble.

10 years. Way to go out on a limb!

All the talk about what position a player can/can't play always makes me laugh. MoT will play 3 for 10 seconds at a time and then go back to 4. Or if the matchup is suitable. And that is on offense ONLY. MoT will virtually never play 3 on defense.

Nobody ever realizes that positons aren't strict anymore...esp on Rudy's teams. Rudy intentially gets folks that are versitile.

The opposite is true w/ Griff. Everybody keeps saying we loose Griff's shot blocking and rebounding cause he's shooting 3's. There is no need for shotblocking on offense!!!! On one end, he's a 3 and on the other end he's a 4.

Griffin is going to be a three. It's politics right now.

    I can't believe that anybody would be riding MoT's jock:rolleyes: !!

The guy's a total wuss on the floor, and a total scumbag off of it. I had some personal experience with trying to get MoT just to show up and sign autographs for the disabled last year while he was in Houston rehabbing and he couldn't be bothered:mad: !!

I'll take K.T. or Griff as our starting 4/3 anyday over MoT. The reason we tanked so bad is because Stevie, Cat and Cato play absolutely NO D!!

Dump MoT and Cato before you dump Rice!!!!!

I dont know what will happen in ten years, but I do know the best forward on the team is Kenny "Mad Dawg" Thomas. You people make me sick with your what Eddie will do stuff. Can we focus on thoes players who have produced at a suffecient level. For all you people know Griffin will be a crackhead in ten years.

In light of Mo TRAYLOR's well documented softness, his putrid rebounding, his porous defense, and his newfound obesity, his utterly ridiculous contract, how about a trade of:

Mo TRAYLOR and the #15 pick for the #45 pick. I doubt any team would be dumb enough to acquire that sick contract but the Rockets would be hooked up by simply getting rid of the overpaid, obese bum even if it means practically giving the pick away .

Mo Taylor did an awesome job for us when we won 45 games. The rebounding wasn't there because you always had dead weight blocking the lane in Kelvin Cato. Mo Taylor fits this team because of his middle distance jump shot. FLAWLESS! He can blow by other defenders if you've forgotten. He uses his body to shield off defenders. Mo is an awesome finisher on the fast break. Bottom Line...We need Mo. He is the person Steve or Cat can flip it back to after they have split the defense.

My only concern was hearing that Taylor gained 70 pounds during his injury, and wondering if he can do what it takes to shed that weight, and then also wondering if he'll be back to the player he was before his injury.

If he comes back in the shape he was in before the injury, I'll be thrilled. He would be worth his contract then, and a valuable assett to this team.

Until Taylor shows his condition, he'll be untradeable, except as cap filler on a deal, reducing the value of the trade.

So, unfortunately for KT fans out there, he's the odd man out when we are trying to find all the trade chits we can for upgrading the team. And since he had a good season, and is coming into his own, his height weakness shouldn't be a problem in the East, so I bet he'll go in a trade with someone there.
