So I got a speeding ticket and have no idea what to do.

    I have court on next week, so what are my options to get out of this? How does it work? If the cop doesnt show up I get dismissed or something right? What do I have to do to get the ticket off of my record and how do I go about doing it? Thanks guys!

    Are you a person of color? If so, claim that the cop was being racist. If the cop was black, accuse him of being a hater.

    I would just go to the courthouse, tell them you are going to take defensive driving, pay what they want, and then go home and start DD as soon as possible and finish as soon as possible. Then you just go back in and give them the necessary forms and you go on a 1 year probationary period where you should NOT SPEED and it will be off your record.

    People always try to get out of things like this, just take the defensive driving and you'll be done with it.

    I recommend taking it online. You have to sit through the videos, but I would much rather do that than go to an actual class....not sure about you though.
