Dude when they first try to handcuff him (you know to simply walk him out) he's fighting them. It's right around the 2:10-2:15 mark. Then they still try to handcuff him after the first 'taze' and he's still trying to wiggle out of their grasp. Maybe in pain at that point, but he's still trying to stand and yell at them so who knows. The dude was high, stupid, resisting and naked. That's not going to get a person any better treatment. Hell, I feel a little bit better about this video than others because at least we see the cops actually try and talk the dude out of the situation first. He did, however, manage to cast +1 Confidence on all the other dudes in the place so at least it wasn't a total loss.
In b4 the lock free post woo-hoo. Anyway. If my package was that small no way I'd get naked in public.
Watch it again. He's not cooperating but there is a big difference between being uncooperative and fighting. They had him on the ground one of the officers was already in the process of restraining him when the other officer knees him. Later when the other officer tazes him repeatedly you see one officer already has the handcuffs on partially but has to back off as he is getting tazed.
I don't think I'm the one that needs to keep 'watching it again'. They are trying to cuff him, he is yelling and trying to stop them. End of story. If you are seeing something different I can't really do anything about that. Whatever though, I'd much rather keep making wizard jokes!
Eh i never thought i would post a link about penis He suffers from a disorder called Micropenis or in World of Warcraft terms hes a Wizard.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Micropenis
I watched it the first time it was posted (I have no desire to watch it again), but from what I recall, they try to cuff him and he won't let them. In my book, that's resisting arrest.
the guy obviously is an idiot and has his shortcomings but whats the point of arresting him? Cant they just give him a ticket and move on? The only thing hes doing is being naked, does choosing not to wear clothes in public really justify an arrest or in this case strikes with knees, tazers and arm bars? Its a festival, one idiot is naked but otherwise not causing anyone else any harm, common sense to me seems to be, give the idiot a ****en ticket and move on. Is nudity or a naked body really that threatening to society nowadays?
If three (large) grown men with police training can't restrain and remove one drunk or drugged up r****d without tasing him like they did in this video... that's sad. Yea the dude wasn't cooperating and yea he needed some rough treatment but holy **** that amount of tasing is unnecessary. And LOL @ his tiny penis. The fact that his tiny wang is all over the internet is punishment enough.
I think the biggest problem was the he was naked, sweat/greasy, and squirming all over the place. Tough to get a good grab on a person like that. But yeah, seems like they were rather unnecessarily hardcore with the tasering.
Yes he is yelling and trying to stop them but he's not violent. He is down on the ground restrained when one of the cops decides to escalate. The incident should've ended with him on the ground the first time without the knee or being tazed multiple times. Yes its funny making fun of naked wannabe wizard but I don't find police losing control and beating up someone who doesn't represent a threat funny.
Clearly I think the police overreacted in how they took him in custody but I don't fault them for taking him into custody. I don't think he was a threat but the law is the law regarding public nudity and he is obviously either not mentally all there or seriously tripping. The police have to err on the side of caution in case his behavior does escalate in some other way. Besides if they didn't arrest him they would probably be getting sued from some parent or other prude about how the police allowed someone to offend public morality. Its a bad situation all around. If the guy was in his right mind trying to make some sort of protest. He should've either peacefully put his clothes back on or peacefully allowed the cops to take him in custody. The cops when they realized he wasn't cooperating should've been more measured in their response.
