Maybe it's a smoke screen? like that whole "Roy and Aldridge are questionable for game 5 bs"

Well, if Barry is playing, it could actually be better for us that Rudy Fernandez might be in the starting lineup. I'd rather have Battier defending Rudy rather than Barry.

Also, Lowry and Barry play pretty well together. We may see better ball movement in the second unit.

He hurt it last game during a drive. He twisted his body funny and was holding his back a couple plays later.

Maybe I'm naive but I don't understand why Morey would announce this even if it's true. Wafer will not miss a game six, in this, his breakout season!

I saw him holding his back during the game on a play I forgot which play it was. He was limping and holding his back. It probably has stiffened up on him.

Yep, when he fell to the ground on a drive...maybe that reverse dunk that got blocked.

He is young though, and can get treatment......I think he will give it a go...it is the playoffs.....we need him.

I think he'll play. He's young, tough, and its the PLAYOFFS! We need him off of the bench. I think James White will get some of his minutes though. James White has been in this position before with the Spurs.

I could be wrong but the play that he originally hurt it on happened before that reverse dunk that got blocked. Maybe that dunk made it worse. Didn't the goal basically block the dunk? Maybe his back effected him on that dunk.

I hope Wafer can give it a go and contribute tonight. However, I wouldn't mind seeing James White, but realistically, wouldn't that be throwing him into the fire as Game 6 is about as big of a stage as it gets at this point in the season.

How likely would Adelman put in White if he has pretty much 0 experience?

He was brought in to shoot the 3, he has been trash at that , if he is on the court for more than 5 mins Rox will lose, I just hope Shane and Ron don't get tired.

I know wafer brings a huge spark off the bench... and he is a favorite since he's played so welll this season, but seriously, if we were counting on him to be the difference we've got issues.

Be glad that we have someone like Barry who has experience, will make good decisions, can make a good pass (pass the ball at all)... and not only that, if Wafer needs a break, we can win one at home without him and give him the rest he needs so after a Rockets win against Portland he can go absolutely nuts on the Lakers and show them we can compete with the best.

I hate to hear the news, but this glass is half full.
