i like Ron, but a prime Jordan would have killed him. Ron is strong, but no way he could guard a lightning quick Jordan in the early 90s. That's why Maxwell was good against him cause he was quick athletic player. Maybe in the late 90s when Jordan relied on more of a post up game could Ron have a chance.
To say Roy is better than Kobe and Dwade (if he is only talking about guards) is just r****ded. I mean Roy is good, but he uses the pick and roll like crazy which makes him look better than he actually is. I guess what I'm trying to say is that Kobe and Wade will take you one on one and school you at any given time while I doubt Brandon Roy is capable of doing that on a consistent basis.

what was charles' response? ron must not have watched much ball in the 80's/early 90's. barkley was a bad defender, but he was far from overrated. anyone that saw his prime will agree that while he doesn't have anywhere near the longevity of peak greatness and success that makes duncan the greatest ever, at charles absolute 2-3 year peak prime, he was better than any power forward to ever walk the face of the earth.
