I'm tired of some people on this board and in the media. Stop being cowards, eat some pinto beans and stand up like men for once. People continue to say how Houston should be afraid to play a team with a poor win record on its home court? We should be afraid of baby faces? Hell no, we should be blazing with confidence and getting pumped. We are coming back to Clutch City with home court advantage and are going to pummel the hell out of the Portland Trail Blazers. I don't care about first round exits of yesteryear... those were entirely different teams. We're up 3-2, not down, and we're going to win this thing in game six. I'm tired of hearing the words "Portland in Seven." And especially from people on this board who have no backbone after one loss. Boo hoo, let's all cry about it. I can already here the waabulance coming to pick you up you p****s. Go and sit with T-mac and root for the Lakers already. Stand up and have some confidence in the Rockets for once. Rockets for the win in game 6.
I agreed with your post until you mentioned McGrady. I mean come on, can we leave this guy out of one thread on this entire board. He's over on the bench, and have seen him actually hopping out of his seat and pumping his fist when Battier hit his three in the corner. You may like T-mac, you may not, but the fact is he has no affect on this series.
people are just being realistic..... rockets vs lakers is not set in stone. we must not let this go to game 7
This and tinman's thread are the best threads on here right now. Crush, kill, and destroy the Blazers on Thurs. night.
What form of sucking are you refering to? Is it...To establish a vaccum seal Or...Vulgar Slang To be disgustingly disagreeable or offensive
I prefer to win at home anyway. It would definitely ease some of the pain I'm still feeling from being at the TC for Game 7 two years ago.
I do not dislike the Blazers or their fans but they have been done a great disservice by their media and coach. The only story with the refs so far was how different it was from game to game. Then the media goes off and gets the coach an idea which results in a fine for our coach.
I didn't realistically expect an away win at Rose Garden anyways. It's only fitting that we move on to the second round during a home game anyway. I'm excited.
I should not have mentioned T-mac because it's going to turn into a T-mac thread. I was referring to when he picked the Lakers to win, when asked who he thought would win. Yes, he rooted for the Rockets on the sideline.
LOL ... they sure do. http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showpost.php?p=4456836&postcount=22 May the problem continue forever
agreed 100 %.... i mean where´s that confidence and enthusiasm that everyone had after game 1, come on we will colse it at home
I think mentioning Tmac being on the bench and not playing is valid. This team has a reputation for choking and Tmac is a huge part of that. All this negative thinking and comparisons to the teams of the last few years is wrong because McGrady isn't here. This is a largely new and improved team that does not depend on Mr. "it's on me" and whether or not he will wear his sneakers or his high heels to play the game. These are all hard-nosed, win first guys who will do what it takes to win instead of talking about it. (not directed at you) This team is forging its own identity so let's stop the comparisons to past Rocket Teams.
