So the Rockets lost a game and its the usual clutchfans

Let's blame : insert [] player and insert [] player

tonight it was Ron Artest and Aaron Brooks

unless you guys have touched Sylar and absorbed Hiro's powers, you can't change reality.

There are players on this team that play, and there are players on the team that don't play or even suit up.

So try not to you the word "IF" all the time, cause the word "IF" doesn't change things.

Aaron Brooks and Ron Artest played and they are relevant. The one's who aren't playing or will never play again are not relevant.

So whatever countless scenarios you have in your head. it still remains

Rockets up 3-2 going to Toyota Center.

I'll take it, any day, every day and I'll enjoy it.

    Clutch City b****es.

One loss and the 90% of the board acts like they got the swine flu.

apparently it affects their brains, some people here said Robert Horry was not a closer.

Clutch call the CDC! we need stop the stupidity from contaminating everyone.

Quick, all of the 99ers go to Austin and we'll hide at DD's mansion in the hills.

    Seriously,
I'm the biggest Maxwell fan in the world, I'd sacrifice half this board members except for a few to get him out of jail.

but in 95 when Maxwell left the Rockets,

I didn't think about him anymore. I just thought about the game and the team that was playing. And some of you are still thinking of a player who hasn't even played half a season.

I never put a "IF" scenario
like "IF" this player was healthy or "IF" this player did this or "IF" our coach did this

Seriously 97% would have wanted Rudy T fired after 2 games vs Phoenix.

The playoffs were meant to be enjoyed, we're not trying to solve the world's environmental problems.

There's a game 6 and we have a chance to win.

Well said. You can't change the reality.

But the reality is, most fans are bandwagoners and they overreact no matter the team wins or loses. I would just ignore the ignorant fans and support the team.

Tinman, I would love to see you and other 99ers join DD's Rockets Talk though. :D

The team can still succeed if all of our guys play their respective roles.
I admit I get mad when it gets frustrating and lose hope but it's up to the players to reassess things and support each other. The coaching staff has to do a better job,Adelman has to encourage them and reinforce what needs to be done.

We as fans should come out at the Toyota Center in big numbers. Those that can't be there are going to be with them all the way.
I like what you have done tinman.

It's quite tough to win game 5 given the fact of how the refs were handling the game.

I still think the refs(the league) wanted a game 6 to get a bit more something. I think we did an average job and we were supposed to win this one if the proportion of the fouls called was not 24:12. That's absurd IMO.

And the drama should and must end in game 6. We'll get this one. I believe in the Rockets. let'em get some rest and come out strong and complete the mission.

dude hasn't done his part for his kids- I don't care if you're maxwell, drexler, olajuwon, or w/e, sacrificing the innocent for someone's alleged crimes is wrong. The dude did something wrong, and he needs to pay the price. These are children we are talking about- and you want to defend him for it? It has nothing to do with his Rockets legacy, it has to do with right and wrong, and if you're willing to overlook justice and crime because he helped win games, then I dont really know what to say to you.

We know it is 3-2 up with game 6 at Toyota Center. losing game 5 when we were up 3-1 is not good. this gives more time for the Lakers to rest up and be prepared. Strategically speak, a big no no.

2005, when we were playing against the Mavs, we were up 2-0 and guess what happened? A ref who single handely turned the tide where the odds were against Mavs. Same thing happened in Game 5, all the odds were against Portlands. I wonder if the FBI would start looking into this specially with the ecomony of today.

The Lakers don't matter right now. This is all about the Rockets taking care of business.
Conspiracy theories aren't going to win the game.

    Great thread Tinman.

As I said last night. This was a team loss but this is the team we have in the here and now. Speculating about different players, different coaches, or worst of all talking about Yao Ming leaving is meaningless.

We either stand by the team now or go root for someone else!

    GO ROCKETS!

Most of the people posting the negativity have never experience the excitement of the Rockets winning playoff series they weren't supposed to win.

This is the reason we see all of the negativity, I've the pleasure of seeing them get over the hump against Seattle, Phoenix, Utah (Clyde and Dream went off).

So I pardon them for their lack of support with this current team. AB will perform much better at home along with everyone else.

I agree....the only thing I'm more tired of reading than the Tracy talk is the officiating talk. Rockets will clampdown on them tomorrow night.
