Now that the whining has subsided, we can just accept what it is. The team with nothing to lose and the most desperate team won. Portland has good talent and their backs were against the wall. If u were betting on any game to get their best effort, this was it. Yao and scola were solid, brooks and artest played poorly. The inability to shut the faucet off hurt the rockets tonight. The rox will close it out in houston. If the rox lose game 6, they will lose game 7. Both teams will bring their A game and we'll see what happens.

One thing I just want to see is Battier taking more shots. I don't care if he's not wide open because I'd rather him shooting a contested shot than AB or Ron. Adelman should seriously run plays for Battier behind the arc by having run off picks.

I counted nine possesions in the 4Q where Yao had sealed off either Oden or Pryzbilla and was open for a five foot hook shot. Yet AB either looked/passed the other way or tried to go to the hole, only to have his shot blocked again (and again). Time for the boy to either grow up or sit down.

Your ignorant if you believe refs have no impact on games. To blame the refs completely is wrong, I'll admit that. However, to say every game is officiated perfectly is wrong also.

I didn't like how the fouls on Pryz/Oden suddenly stopped in the 4th quarter, as if they magically stopped doing it. However, the Rockets have no one to blame but themselves for this loss. They had chances, but couldn't capitalize.

I did not realize that AB took 20 shots. Yao should be the one taking 20 shots in the next game. He can not just take less than 10 shots in Thursday's game or this series maybe extended to 7 games. I have faith the the team can win on Thursday, I just want a good blowout win at home for once this playoff round.

The problem I have is with Yao. Your post above says he played solid. Solid wil not get it done. Look at D.Howard, Kobe, Pierce, hell even Rondo, Wade , etc

The stars should play like stars. Yao needs to step his game up. Not play like its the regular season. Too many layups up and over Yao. Missed rebounds.

If Yao is our best player. He needs to play like it! NO EXCUSES

Refs did not cost us the game . Only people who dont know basketball would say silly **** like that.

We were also leading the series against dallas....

    *tries to block out flashbacks*

Seriously, I don't know what the hell's wrong with Adelman...is he too shook of telling AB to play like a REAL point guard? I think it's a sign of a lack of respect to Yao, whether ya'll like to admit it or not, if Brooks respects the fact that the offense should run through Yao, he wouldn't be gunning for 20 attempts...I am still so 4%&cking angry right now, I've been a Houston fan since I was an embryo and if they fail to advance once again....I think I just might stick to stanning baseball.

But look at it this way, The Blazers had to play a perfect game to beat the ROX. They had to have Lamarcus and Roy to have 20 plus points to beat us. As long as we keep those two at bay, we are going to win! No doubt

Oh really, wait and see how the game is called. I don't think the Blazers will get the same fourth quarter that they got tonight at home in H-Town. Rockets should win and it has to be a blowout, if the game is close I believe the Blazers have good chance to win.

Man I just don't get it. Every loss it's AB or Artest's fault and Adelman is just too blind to see that they suck. AB and Artest are just too fking selfish, especially AB. He really thinks that he can make big **** popping but the dude just don't understand that he can't do anything when driving into 4 defenders.

I'll trade AB to get back Luther Head anytime.

a star can't play like a star without the ball....brooks missed a lot of entry passes and penetration passes to yao. yao is completely dependent on the people that give hime the ball....unlike most of the people u mentioned.

How is Yao supposed to step it up offensively when the Point Guard WONT give him the ball?

I agree 100%, If he gets the ball he's unstoppable down there. It's his teammates that are making the problems not Yao. Aaron Brooks is honestly the main reason why Yao doesn't get the ball. Has nothing to do with Ron, Wafer, Lowry, etc...

All AB from what I see.

Didn't Oden and Aldridge play center for most of the 4th? This way the only game that Oden and Joel played smart.
