Goat of the Game: Aaron Brooks

Brooks was absolutely horrible in this game. It's hard to see how he can be the solution at PG when he spent the whole game driving into 1-on-5's and 1-on-4's and throwing the ball up either right into the defender's hands or 3 feet from hitting the rim.

He took way too many contested 3's, when Shane Battier only took 3 shots and 1 3-pointer the entire game. I'd much rather give the wide open 3's to Shane.

He also waved off Yao when he had Oden sealed off on more than a couple occasions.

What a terrible, disgusting game from Brooks. This was totally winnable for us.

I've been saying all along. Brooks=a undersized shooting guard who is lightning fast. His court vision is pathetic.

STFU. HE DID NOT COST US THE GAME. IT WAS ARTEST ONCE AGAIN MESSING UP OUR OFFENSE ON SOME IMPORTANT POSSESSIONS AND SOME TERRIBLE SHOTS IN CRUNCH TIME JUST BECAUSE HE MADE A 3. AB IS TOO LITTLE TO MAKE THOSE TOUGH PASSES TO YAO. HE DOES THE BEST HE CAN TO RUN THE OFFENSE WHILE TRYING NOT TO MAKE TURNOVER OFF FORCED PASSES.

I hate these threads, but I agree on this one completely. WTF were those final 2 shots? He is having a HORRIBLE shooting night and thinks its a good idea to go Rafer and start floating up shots.

Jesus... Lowry needs to get 35 minutes next game just to show Aaron Brooks to not be such a dumbass.

He dribbled too much and did not set up the offense at all. Bad game for AB

I didn't know why you guys were all hating on Brooks...

...but then I saw the box score.

    6-20?
    1-8 from 3pt land?

Lowry needs to start next game. Seriously.

The worst part is he dribbles down the clock, when the ball ever gets to Yao, it is almost 24 seconds so Yao had to rush the shot.

AB simply is not good solution at the 1.

Everytime we won a game AB has outplayed Blake and as the NBATV guys said Blake vs Brooks is the key matchup not whatever.

Brooks was dominated in tonights game, Lowry needs more minutes.

    1. I like this hate-AB thread
    2. A pg should do his job, organise and control well, pass or shoot the ball on the right time
    3. AB sucks
    4. RA sucks since he let AB sub in
    5. Why AB always pass the ball to Artest??? Anyone knows?

Actually AB did a terrible job running the offense. Yeah, Ron didn't play well either, but AB passed up open shots, dribbled too much and made some really bad decisions with the ball. Oh, and he could of easily passed around Blake on two of those open Yao post-ups. He wasn't the reason why we lost, but his bad game was a big factor (along with other things as well)

He did a bad job as a PG tonight.

Rockets have come full circle since drafting Yao, Brooks is a homeless man's SF3.

I would not blame AB for this loss at all. The shots that he missed today were shots that he normally makes. I rather him keep shooting than not to shoot when we wanted him to. On the other hand once again RON thinks he is MJ and starts jacking up fadaway jumpshots..smh and people think he is better than tmac....10xsmh

Artest was more horrible than AB, it's not far off to say he's been the worst player in this year playoff so far.

He is the worst player of ROX since i watch ROX's games. I think he plays only for his own data!
Is he selfish or he hasn't the ability of passing ball?

I'll give him credit for at least trying to step up and be aggressive. Although, truth be told: we don't need him taking this many shots. He passed up on a lot of open jumpers just to dribble around trying to create something out of nothing.
