'Return of the Jedi' is episode 6, not 4.

Read it again fade - I said he was going to add Jar-Jar to a New Hope (Episode 4)and Portman to Return of the Jedi(Episode 6). The title says Jar-Jar will be added to episode 4 - A New Hope.

The less Jar Jar. . the better
QUESTION: Who were the people Luke was staying with in the
    original?

Yes. For at least the last year Lucas has said that he was adding some new material to ANH, ESB, and RoTJ so the six films will be "seamless" when viewed on DVD.

Just put the camera down, George, and slowly back away. Yoda says: Do not. There is no try.

What the hell is George Lucas thinking? Is there anyone over the age of 10 who likes Jar Jar? He ruined Episode I, and in Episode II he was on the Senate? What kind of crap is Lucas putting together. Oh ya, maybe he should hire a new dialogue guy too.

So does this mean that Jar Jar doesn't die in Episode 3. Watching Binks get killed was one of the things I was looking forward to the most in the next movie.

Seriously though, I figured everyone that isn't in Episodes 4,5, and 6 was going to die during Episode 3. People like Mace Windu, all the other Jedi, Count Dooku, and Padme were all going to bite the dust to explain why they aren't in any of the Episodes 4,5, and 6.

Isn't Episode 4 the original Star Wars?

What, is that being called "A New Hope" now??

Lucas seems pretty determined to kill off his fan base. Jar-Jar is arguably the worst character in any movie, ever.

Yep - "A New Hope" is the title for Episode 4.

http://us.imdb.com/Title?0076759 check out the AKA section.

    Jar-Jar sucks.

Since all the Star Wars gurus are hanging around, can someone recommend a good book that picks up after Return of the Jedi.

    Thanks guys.

Absolutely. Pickup the Timothy Zahn trilogy about Admiral Thrawn.

    Heir to the Empire
    Dark Force Rising
    The Last Command

Very, very well done series. Zahn also wrote 2 more Star Wars books recently that deal with the characters he created in his trilogy:

    Spector of the Past
    Vision of the Future

Check 'em out. I wouldn't dream of reading any other post-ROTJ books (like the New Jedi Order series) without first reading Zahn's. Otherwise, you won't know who characters like Mara Jade, Admiral Thrawn, and Talon Karrde are. (Technically, "Truce at Bakura" is first in the SW timeline after ROTJ, but some of those books before Zahn's series really sucked.)
